Rose looked around the small subway station, waiting for her partners to show up. She was anxious to talk to Travis, waiting for another battle story.

She tapped her foot and sighed. "Your friends not here?" The voice startled her and Rose whirled around. The man was a Lycan, she could tell, and grinned. He smacked her and Rose stumbled backwards from the blow.

She frowned and pulled out the gun. "Don't make me hurt you!" She yelled and he laughed. Before she could move, 4 more Lycans surrounded her.

An explosion of bullets whizzed around the Subway. Two Lycans fell limpy to the ground. Another looked to the Subways gateway and saw a towering hulk of a man with a heavy assualt rifle. He reloaded.

"Take one more step and I'll blow your filthy head of. No-one hurts the lady while I'm here!"

"Thanks for showing!" Rose said, mad at the timing. She was blaming her broken nose on him.

Rose pulled out the pistol and got a bullet through one of the followers before anything else could happen. Their leader clicked his tongue and shifted, a giant bear in his place. The bear roared and crush a column before running down the tunnel.

Rose jumped down and took off after it.

Travis frowned, running was not his style, considering the massive amount of body armor he wore, it was hard to make top speed. He threw his rifle over his shoulder and took off down the Subway after the two of them.

"Bloody Lycans...why does it have to be a bear. Why cant it ever be a cute little squirrel!"

Bullets brought the last Lycan down, whom was still dazed from the attack. Max grinned.

"Great, just my day. First my car, now a chase." Max sighed and took off after them.

Travis looked behind him and saw max Bolting after him.

"Lets go! I've not got all day!"

Rose rounded a corner and frozed. Two bright lights were a few feet away and she hit the wall.

"TRAVIS LOOK OUT!" She yelled as the train ran past her. Rose growled and looked sideways but couldn't see the Lycan.

Travis pulled out his Grenade launcher as quickly as he could. He hoped no-one was on the train, but considering the fact that most subways were automated, and the war had made them dangerous, he figured not. He pulled the trigger and an airburst round shot out, blowing the front of the train off and flinging it into the wall. Just as the train was about to hit him, he jumped up and landed perfectly in the front.

Before he got to far away from the action, he grabbed the reverse switch and threw it, the train went screaming back the other direction. Out of perfect timing, he latched onto Maxs' hand as he passed, and hauled her abord.

"Now this is what I call a rodeo!" He laughed.

Rose saw the train roll back and frowned at the two on it. She grabbed on the edge and jumped up.

"TRAVIS! We're supposed to be secretive. This is gonna end up on the news!" Rose scolded.

(WRONG PERSON! I so sorry Em, couldn't help it XD)

If we're supposed to be secretive why the heck did you invite me?"

He fired a few shots from his rifle in the air and laughed heartily.

(Never do it again!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Attempts to strangle her* UNDERSTAND?)

Rose frowned. "Because you're a friend." She said and rubbed her nose.

"Great, it's broken." Rose sighed.

"If its broken, lets throw this hunk of tin back in forward so I can teach that oversized cub a lesson!"

He reached for the direction control.

(*Gets away* Okay! I love you like a sister thoguh ^.^)

Max sighed. "KISS ALREADY! You two always do this." Max groaned.

"By the way, stupid Lycans slit my Dad's tires."

Travis was shocked.

Fumbling to change the subject to something other than romance he said, "If this is a war, you would think they would have blown your dads car up..."

"They are stupid..."

Max smirked at how he sounded embarassed before becoming serious.

"The samples of Lycan blood I got were in the trunk. They're gone, and so is my schedule. I thik they're trying to find The Thorns weaknesses." Max frowned.

"We better watch our backs."
