Keeping the ball rolling....

Yeah I figure Smoke and Rose are kind of out of things for the moment while Alex and Penelope settle things downstairs.

But there is a bit more on Katul...

Again... just lurking and posting

Just finished watching the movie "Push"... not the best movie by far, but may be of interest to you. Basically, a movie about a bunch of humans gifted with various forms of The Sight.

Not bad... but not great. I toss it in FYI.

And there's some comedy relief...

Well, kind of anyway... it can be amusing making the detective that figures something out but can't make sense out of it

So, yeah... there's Kenneth... a detective who takes his work seriously, although his demeanour would really suggest otherwise... ^^

Oh, and if it's a bit too confusing, since one of my NPCs in Clock Tower is also named Kenneth, I can change the name if you'd like

*wink*

Been trying to figure out where Alex might be caching those for a while... didn't think about the cash register until I was in the midst of this post, actually. Figured it'd almost be "appropriate" since each kill Alex makes symbolizes a kind of payback for him sooooo... the Zazy goes poof, the amulet gets nabbed, into the box it goes, and cha-ching!

Eddie's amulet, I figure, is the first one that Alex neglected to lift from the "victim," though... There may be another one that he didn't get but it's probably at the bottom of Lake Michigan along with the fish-bait Zazy who got him/herself blown into the drink by a hefty gust of wind, eh?

Happy Monday, folks!

Stuff I forgot...

"Push" - definitely a decent movie (worth a rental or buying from the $9 bin at Wal-Mart, anyway) and much like I've envisioned Sight powers working, too.

"Kenneth" - Groovy! No need to change the name, Rer... I'm sure we can differentiate... Nice little "expendable crewman" post, there, too.

We interrupt this post for a random ABBA moment:

We now return you to your regularly scheduled Eol, already in progress....

Voila!

There ye be! Response is posted!

Alex just barely resisted asking if Penelope had any idea what he was... why Lucius might've sent her to a half-crocked mortal who'd only been seriously practicing the Craft for a couple of years.

Anyhoo, however the conversation goes from here, I figure Alex is about to start getting down to the nitty-gritty... "Where do you live, Penelope?" "Mind if I come by and have a look... see what I can see?" "Let me get a phone number or something so I can get in touch with you when I find something...blahblahblah"

Feel free to go with from there as you might see fit.

Smoke and Rosie (and/or whomever else) can likely interrupt at this point, too, I'd guess.

Well...

I think Smoke can be pretty sure that Janelle will be okay now... so she could probably go ahead and interrupt Alex

On second thought... I just thought of something else... but then again, I'm not exactly sure how they'd react to it...

LOL

No bother at all, Almerin Fernando... I was wondering how long it'd take for someone to notice that I was in DisneyWorld and not Sweden.

What!!?

They have to be alive for the scrying spell to work!?

Where is the fun in that!?

Ohh... but back to business at hand. Smokie is staying with Rosie till she wakes up and then will wander down, will likely have all sorts of things to ask/tell Alex when she does.

I'm out of town this weekend so no postes from me till Monday.

Regarding Time...

I figure that a nap usually is between 1 and 2 hours long... and it doesn't quite feel to have been that long yet... maybe 20 to 30 minutes at the most right now... so I think there would be enough time for Alex and Penelope to meander over and investigate her place quickly and come back...

Of course, that's just my impression; if you think it's been longer, just let me know so I can do a wake-up post

Scrying, time, etc, etc...

Where's the fun? Why it's in Alex restraining himself from geekin' another Zazy... Seriously, my thoughts on the scrying are based on a few similar spells I've seen in movies and/or TV shows. When the magician uses the spell I have in mind to try and locate someone, the crystal that's used as the "compass" typically explodes if the person is dead. Now, that's not to say that there aren't other spells that would help point Alex in the right direction even if he used something from one of the dead Zazies but, the one he's learned already, unfortunately, does... Mayhaps he'll learn another at some point, eh?

Time? Yeah, I think you're probably right, Rer... Between 20 and 45 minutes would have passed since Rosie and Smoke went upstairs, I guess... The way I see it, we've got a couple of options, here... Alex and Penelope can run over to Pilsen now and have a gander about (with or without Rosie and Smoke) or arrangements can be made for Alex to stop by "tomorrow" (or some other appropriate time to the tale)... I'm open to discussion or just running with whatever gets posted next.
