Erina's eyes just stayed wide. She wasn't talking to him, just had her mouth shut tightly.

"There you go, that's it Angel. Just let me carry you. Fall into my arms, and just lie there. That is your sanctuary, you are safe when you are in there."

Erina closed her eyes and looked like she was asleep. "Fine."

Suddenly, a strange girl appeared on the path before them. "You're friend need help?" She asked. The girl had dark purple hair and light green eyes. She was dressed in witches clothes, complete with a pointed hat.

"I love healing Angel's." She smiled, looking sweet and honest.

D'Artigo stops walking. "Woman, who might you be? Wandering out here so far from the village... you could get hurt." Looking her up and down, he continues... "Or... well... you could be found by some man, who wouldn't hesitate to steal you away."

The girl smiled. "I'm Kirien and don't worry about me." She smirked and lightining flashed around her. "Witchblood runs in my family." She turned around and signalled for the group to follow her, walking off.

"I don't know. Ask Pale Rose there. She orders me, and currently I hold who you wish to heal. It is not my choice."

"Fine, ler her die. Sorry that your man won't let me help you." Kirien said to Erina and then headed in the same direction.

Miv looked at him and then followed the witch. She wasn't sure why, but Miv did.

"I said I stand under the will of the queen. If you question her rule, it may not be the wisest thing you did."

Seeing as how Miv followed the woman, D'Artigo shrugged, and followed her.

Erina shivered alittle. "Don't leave me alone with a witch."

Erina hid her face against his chest, not bothering to explain.

Stroking her hair with his hand - how silky it was - D'Artigo whispered. "Don't worry, you won't be alone if you don't want it to be. I will stay with you. You want me to?"

"Yes. I just don't trust witches." Erina's face was even paler than usual, and it seemed guarded. As if there was something she was keepig a secret...

Kirien finally got to a small cottage and opened the door. The main room had a white cot with a small table beside it, full of medical supplies. "Lay her down." She said and went to wash her hands in the well water.

"I won't be a bother Witchling."

"Angel. It's okay. I'll be here the whole time."

Kirien came back and absently picked up a small, glowing green bottle and bandages. She poured the liquid on Erina's wing and wrapped it up, holding her hand over it.

She began chanting something strange and there was a glowing light visible throught the bandaged. Kirien moved her hand and Erina fainted suddenly. Kirien smiled and unwrapped the bandage. The spot that had been ijured before had now grown a pink sking over it and feathers were already poking through.

A small scraping sound comes from within D'Artigo's mask.

"What did you do to her witchling? If it's lethal, keep in mind that you will be soon to follow." Cracking his knuckles. D'Artigo stepped forward from the corner he was standing in.
