Rose smiled as if everything was normal.

"Any of you can take my job, if you want. But I can control myself: I just fed."

"I just fed too..."

He did'nt expect anyone to understand that reference. He had satifyed his hunger for revenge...and was full...

Rose gave him a look that sent ice into his blood.

"Are you making fun of me?" She asked, eyes blazing.

"No...it was an inside joke...sorry."

"A tiger bite is one thing. But a spider bite....ewww" Seth felt nauseous at the blood loss. He swayed a little bit, and then it passed. "So, are we assassinating some big-wigs?"

Rose shrugged. "We need to get that out for sure."

"I think we should rest first."

Max nodded.

"Yeah, we need rest."

"I couldn't agree more. I do have one question. How did Derric find us?"

"He tracked his dead?" Rose guessed.

"we should probably start either covering our tracks, or spending some of this money i've been pooling to get increased security."

Seth shrugged his shoulders. "It's just a suggestion."

"I say security." Rose smiled alittle.

"Or else the MEN are taking shifts."

Derric's voice was soft, so quiet it was almost inaudible. Although he was quiet, the rrom still feel silent right as he spoke, it was as if he had captured the chrisma of his ftaher and bottled it into a hushed container.

"I will tell you how I found you. As you," he hinted at Rose, "might know, Vampires and Lycans hev heigtened senses. Vampires can smell blood for miles away, but Lycans cannot. We however have acute hearing and the ability to track the scent of our own is usually dependent on the type of animal we are. Being a canine, I found you easily. I had memorized my...fathers...scent when I fought him, and I located it. When I homed in on it, I found you guys." he looked at Max. "Im sorry for attacking and all..." he turned to Seth, "I'm sorry for trying to rip your throat out and fling you into the horizen...I was confused."

"Don't be sorry: The past paves the way for the future." Rose smiled and suddenly had a look in her eyes.

"Travis, Derric reminded me of soemthing. Here, come with me." Rose walked out of the room.

Travis followed her, glancing around at the others before he did so.

Rose looked at him, a weird look in her eyes.

"Travis, I want you to become a vampire."
