Speaking of "us"... we're picking up a new player courtesy of Boo Boo. She'll be bringing us a villain in the employ of the Azazelites... a troubleshooter-type, if you will, who has been/will be tasked with tracking down the SOB who's been roasting the cultists... I kind of think Alex might be in trouble!

I'm overdue for a post in Wheel of Fate but I was on vacation so that's part of why I was quite visibly absent

Going to get an Alice post in when I can, getting a strong idea in my head of what exactly Xana did, and not only would it work, but it would give her good reason to feel guilty about it, keep the consistency.

...I've gone ahead and posted Boo Boo's character concept to the Character's thread. Still got to work on the actual stats/powers/etc but i figured that giving everyone a look at the concept as I received it might benefit all concerned. I listed Cyrene right under Rosie's entry.

Oooo I love Disturbed! Well my husband loved them and dragged me to their concert and I fell in love too. I know that song but didn't make the connection to the name of the game.

That little twist with Alice is just what I was hoping for. Loved reading that. Perhaps her appearance will come again, at the most inopportune moment.

May not have mentioned this in post, but Penelope will not be telling Alex (or Smoke) about what she did. So, Alice's return might have some rather difficult fall out for our Iberian siren. Just sayin...

Boo Boo, Cyrene sounds great. Can't wait to see how twisted the centuries have made her. Penelope is not going to be happy there' s a beautiful immortal walking among the Zazies.

I do have a post (and a character sheet for Cyrene) in the works... unfortunately, I also have a customer who is trying to bury herself in my ear... it may take a minute.

I've updated Cyrene's character sheet with the stats/skills I've come up with for her, to this point.

She's still got some points to spend, of course, but I was sort of hoping for some input from the rest of the crew (Boo Boo, in particular) as to where we should spend those remaining points. Take a look and hit me with ideas, folks.

P.S. Anyone remember exactly how many points we used to create these characters? I seem to have lost that info.

P.P.S. I've edited Cyrene's post in the characters thread so that Boo Boo can access and edit/update as she see's fit, as well.

I can't find our original point buy either, but it was a little higher than the standard. We're not really working with the rules, but it's good to have a guide to gage what these characters are capable of.

Cyrene looks great. Considering her backstory mentions being both a fighter and a witch, might be fun to look at fleshing out the metaphysics there. Does she have supernatural strength or speed? Fast healing? True Immortals have a battle boost ability that might be fun. Azazel has given her longevity in return for her service, what else has he done to make her body strong? Since she has the extra points might be a good place to spend them. And add a rank or two of attractiveness since it was mentioned

These are just suggestions to get the gears turning. Take them or leave them as you see fit, Boo Boo.

I need all the help I can with the character stuff. Those things you mentioned Nimu sound good. Once she is complete, someone will have to explain what all that means. Since Eol volunteered to make the stats, I guess it's him.

He's got a magic wand that he waves about and then things just happen. Like this here game starting back up again.

Some thoughts. Usually longer lived creatures require some kind of reason for that being so that has been purchased. So either very high essence or a separate quality. Maybe we do a little make-it-up and say Cyrene is one of the "Chosen of Azazel" - it could be a 15 pointer like Fey or Immortal. You'd have to buy the Gift separately but it would give you the taint, longevity, a boost to your physical attributes, and maybe regeneration. Then add in the True Immortal battle boost ability to the metaphysics. How does that sound? If it interests you I can flesh it out more so Eol can add to the char sheet.

Ok, I understood enough of that to say it sounds good to me.
