The game will be starting out in the Night City Integrate, but that's as much info as I'll present right now. This means that you're likely the as far away from Las Vegas as Las Angeles.

New Las Vegas is essentially a smaller version of Night City Megacity with all of the glitz and glamor of Vegas. Surrounded by the desert, it's nanobuilders didn't have many natural resources to prey upon so it didn't expand as much. As a matter-of-fact, it still has essentially the same footprint in 203X as it does in 2016, just taller and deeper.

To answer your questions Tann: Chromebooks are still relevant, but they are OldCybe. NuCybe is the style and craze, and remember: Cyberpunks are about style, chombatta.

If you want a list of gear, you'll need to turn to the Reference book or Gear List linked to in the first post. Now, bear in mind that these do not include any NuCybe. That can only be found in v3's Rulebook, and if you're looking for anything specific from that book, you'll need to converse with me as they tie NuCybe directly into Alt-Cults and I tend to disagree with that Alt-Cult setup. But that doesn't mean everything is fair game.

Are the Old and Nu protected from Nanos, or is that just another Challenge or Problem in Night City ?????

The nanobuilders won't attack humans unless the humans are dead. So, your cyberware and clothing (and meat) are all safe unless you are left dead in an alley somewhere.

Well I have decent skills but the higher ones are more observational bodyguard types skills I guess you could say.

Blossom is the smart and pretty one. Mostly netrunning skills, with a little martial arts and shotgun to back her up.
