Awesome! Welcome back Meri! Smoke is a critical role and while I'm sure Eol would given it his best, it just wouldn't be the same old Smoke without you!

Now that you're back, I wanted to ask if Katul is your PC or is he an NPC? Reason I'm asking, is my character is going to see him and Eol had told me to go ahead and NPC him for the encounter, but if you're back and he is one of your PCs then maybe it wouldn't be right for me to do that.

Ok, so no essence or channeling but increase the Taint instead. That is what she uses for her powers (metaphysics'), that right?

I think I'll keep her invisibility and illusions as that sounds more like her than the Deathcurse. She prefers to cause the deaths with physical means, if possible.

One of Alice's Tainted characteristics is that, like a vampire in this setting, she has to spend essence in order to be perceived as alive.

If she's sleeping and didn't spend the essence... she'd be easily mistaken as dead.

There's a lot of things that work in her favour to give her the necessary time to recover. But now, what I really want to see happen at some point... Alice walking up unnoticed and reaches up to hold on to Xana's hand. A small hand that is cold, with no pulse, but still moving...

That took longer than it should have for what it is. Just glad I finally got something done to get back into things.

It did get my mind spinning on some other facets of this little saga that I need to get back to, as well... Check in with Joe, etc... maybe another Lucius appearance at some point, especially considering that Cyrene's in town... I have the thoughts! lots of the thoughts!

I've done some minor tweaking on Alex's character sheet...

Changed the concept from "Survivor" to "Avenger" as, I figure, at this point in his story, he's certainly more the latter... I mean he's cooking Zazies in the streets, fer Pete's sake!!! Also, it works better with that "destiny" thing that I made reference to in my last post. (I think I may have discussed this "destiny" with most of you OOC way back when we first started this game, actually... If you want a refresher, let me know).

Also, I cleaned up/organized Qualities, Drawbacks, Skills and such... And for Boo Boo's benefit (as well as having a quick reference of my own), added the various effects that could be created/utilized with each of Alex's listed metaphysics. I'll be happy to do the same for the rest if anyone likes.

Aaaand, I think that's it for now...

Rer, that whole walking dead girl sneaking up on Penelope to hold her hand is cureeepy. Love it! Can't wait to see that happen!

This was one of my favorite games at the inn and I thrilled to see it brought back to life.

Katul is an NPC... I did make a few adjustments to the dialogue to fit the personality I had for him in the PM you sent me Boo Boo. Should be good now.
