I read that post as at least three critters (but possibly more) are charging the party and am assuming that they're each coming from different directions, yes? What kind of range are we looking at before they're eating us?

Yes, there are three bogies en route.  Range on the enemies is fifteen to thirty feet each.  

Party is single file, but there is plenty of room to fan out here as needed.

This could go very poorly but its cool so onward!!!
