Jessica turned into panther form. She stood in front of eveyone ready to speak to the Lycans.

Erina shook her head and lifted up, hovering above the tree line. A perfect angle to dive.

"Meet them we shall." D'Artigo replied in a purely neutral tone, with no sign of emotion behind them. "However, I will not be one to do too much. If you think that I am so focused on my own wants, and not the needs of this group, then I shall act as such. See which you like more."

"In the hope that we will beg you for your aid and stroke your ego? If what I said was wrong, then such a thought would never have crossed your mind. Your wounded ego means less than nothing to me, and if you are so willing to turn your back, then so be it. I, for one, have no need for a boy playing at hero."

Turning to Jessica, the enchantress whispered, "there may not be a need for bloodshed here. Let us not force it if there is another way. Violence begets violence, and hate begets only more hate."

"Ego has nothing to do with this here. Later, ego will come into it, but here, it is nothing of importance. I did not say I would turn my back. I did say I wouldn't stick my neck out."

"Shut your mouthes!" Erina hissed.

She didn't need them getting her jumpy.

D'Artigo turns his head, and glares at Erina through his mask, but then turns away and says nothing. Not anymore. Not yet.

Erina just waited. She didn't care if they ever spoke again.

The brush rustled and out stepped two Lycans, each in animal form. One was a tiger, the other a wolf. The tiger tensed and growled, deep and throaty. The wolf looked around, trying to find Erina.

The tiger and the wolf stepped into the open, obviously nervous and probably hostile. At least they hadn't attacked right away. That was a good sign, and maybe the fact that Jessica was metting them first would help. "Good day to you. I am Lamiel, and this is Jessica. If this is your wood, we mean no trespass, and seek only to pass through peacefully."

'Peace. The Angel is going to get killed.'

Erina was poised and ready at the slightest movement from either of the Lycans.

D'Artigo sat back in the shadows as the Fallen and the Angel - the odd pair - attempted to bargain with the emerging lycans. Reason with the beasts. Likely they would do it, but amusing to watch nonetheless. Making no move to aid them, he just watched.

Erina got fed up and dropped, letting her wings sweep the ground. Instantly, the Lycans lunged for her.

And so they jumped. Right at Erina. He almost felt pity for her. But after the stunt she pulled, he watched her try to fend for herself, also seeing what the others would do. Still, he readied himself in case they were incapable of handling themselves. While they were very painful to be around sometimes, they were still pretty. A redeeming trait, if nothing.

Erina managed to stop the tiger but forgot about the wolf until the pain.

Erina froze, feeling the teeth clamp around her arm. Her heart wavered. 'No, not now! I have to get this off of me!' Erina's head was screaming. She gasped in pain and startled trying to get her mouth out of the Lycan's bite. And then she'd have to get out the venom.
