Got a start on a post, yesterday, but still need to finish it. Hoping I'll have it tacked on to the thread at some point today.

On an additional posting note, I'll be heading out of town on Thursday night and will likely be gone thru Monday. Internet access will be very limited... I'll try to check in but no guarantees.

Boo Boo put me in a box.

Sorry... I have kind of faded. Oct is absolutely insane. My mom had surgery and I went to help out for a few days, and next week Mark has surgery, then he'll have another in November, so I've got a lot of playing nurse to add to my regular mom duties. I will try to catch up on reading everything you have posted this weekend and hopefully whip up something in response.

She gets out of bed and walks into the den stretching and rubbing sleep from her eyes. Her gaze passes over something and then whips back as realization hits. In the corner is the box, but a large hole has been ripped in one side. The box is obviously empty.

"Ah, hell," she mutters, " should have gotten a bigger box."

Sorry to hear of all your personal troubles; I hope everyone comes through alright!

at least a nicer box. I mean I might have stayed if it had a litter box, at least.

And thanks. Everyone is fine, mom is doing well, hubs will be fine, nothing life threatening or anything. Just a lot of extra work to get it all done.

Caught up with reading, will hopefully work up something tomorrow or so to add to the story.

Glad things are well. I'm looking forward to your posts; I just love Smoke. I sit here and look at my cat and ask her: Why don't you talk to me like that? Of course she remains silent, but from the look in her eyes she wants to say something, I know it.

Geez, Meri - sounds like one of those "when it rains, it pours" kind of months at your place. You always have my good vibes and happy thoughts flowing your way, though, for whatever good that does.

As Boo Boo has asked me about Joe Kelly, I was just checking the character's thread and happened to notice the new info on Mami Fortuna! I it! Good stuff, Nimu!

I imagine, now, that between Mami and Lucius, Alex's "destiny" may be revealed to all of us (and him) at some point during this adventure.

The exact time frame wasn't something I had in mind, truly. So, as with most entries in a cooperatively written story, feel free to go with whichever is more fun to write
