Cirida grinned.

"I'm not denying it. But I have a question."

"What else is new? And, as always, I have an answer. It might not be the one you like hear, but I have an answer."

"Don't freak out on me: What do I taste like?"

"Mmm..." D'Artigo's eyes close, and he takes a deep breath in. "Such a delicious taste... for the most part. You taste like... oh how can one describe it? Humans have the taste of sickly sweet honey... that is easy to describe. Most Lycans carry a bitter taste, but that may be simply because they're pure Lycan, and you are not. Hmm... what can I describe it as..." D'Artigo muses under his breath, debating with himself. Finally, he comes to a conclusion.

"Well... you might say that it's a bit like fresh bread, straight from the oven. But with honey drizzled all over it, as well as the tang of some under ripe fruits... but when you mix them all together, it also contains the ever present bold taste of blood... which is much like water, only with the occasional standout flavour... I must say, it is a rather interesting taste..."

Opening his eyes again, D'Artigo looks at her. "Is that the kind of answer you were looking for? Or did you mean just the skin?"

Ciridia had a weird look.

"You remember what my SKIN tastes like?"

''Every vampire can identify someone by matching the taste of their skin to the taste of their blood. It's got to do with the sensitivity of our tongues, and palettes. The separation is sometimes difficult, but we figure it out eventually."

"I'm sorry, but that sounds disgusting."

"Oh, we're the disgusting ones now, are we? You mutate your bodies to take an animal's shape, and hunt eating raw meat. That is disgusting."

Ciridia shifted to half form, managing to stop with a tail, ears, and sharp teeth.

"I enjoy it." Her voice had a growling understone and she smirked.

"Woof woof."

"You see, that is disturbing. Half-dog? Those kinds of things shouldn't really happen... I just think that there are animals and humanoids... some are pets, some are sentient. Don't mix the two."

Ciridia wagged her tail.

"Hee hee! Touch my tail!"

She giggled.

"Um... let's see..." D'Artigo stared at her twitching tail. She still looked human for blood's sake. How could he...

"Let me tell you what. How about... no."

Ciridia laughed and shifted to full wolf.

She stretched out and yawned, revealing her full sized teeth.

"Oh no. Teeth. Whatever shall I do." D'Artigo's tone was completely lazy, and unworried. He knew that his teeth, while less numerous, were more deadly. "Seriously though, this isn't bad. Nor is it bad when you're in humanoid form. But when you're between the two, or shifting between them all the time... it just gets weird."

Ciridia shifted again, back to human.

"It feels so... I can't describe shifting. But I like freaking you out." She grinned at him.

"Does the puppy make the big bad Vampire newvous?"
