Ciridia slitted away from where she had been sliding closer to him.

"Good girl... now I'm sorry, I don't have a biscuit or else I'd give it to you." D'Artigo chuckles. Sometimes, having a reputation was good. Sometimes, finding things to do without using your reputation was better.

"Hardy har har. Why don't you just get me a new collar and scratch my ears?"

Ciridia rolled her eyes.

"Who knows? I've a fair accumulation of gold that I've collected over the past little while. After all, when a woman dies, there has to be motive... a few gold out of the pockets, some riches, and nobody suspects. I know, that may sound evil, but a man has to evade inquisition at the same time as making a living. Scratching the ears though... that might be a stretch Lyca. I've never been partial to animal's too much... at least, not as pets of mine."

"Don't call me a pet!"

Ciridia nearly strangled herself taking he collar off, but she managed it an threw it at Rand.

"Just to show NO ONE owns me."

Jessica giggled to herself. Miv opened her mouth as to ask something but Jessica said "It nothing, just a funny conversaton between the two" She pointed in Rand's and Lyca direction. She paused suddenly. She caught a familiar scent but it was gone now.

D'Artigo managed to duck out of the way of the incoming collar before it hit him square in the face. "Who said anything about you being my pet? All I said was that I didn't like animal's as pets of mine. You, on the other hand, are sentient. Nothing sentient can be a pet. Slave maybe, but not pet.

Jessica caught the scent again. It was lycan but extremly familiar. Then again it was gone.

"That doesn't look like a good face." Miv looked around.

"Don't do anything yet. We don't want to start trouble, but I can tell something's going on."

"Oh, shut up! You're hurting my head!"

She growled at him, but not in a mean way. More playful.

"It's nothing" Jessica said trying to reassure Miv. She tried to place the scent. Who did it belong to?

D'Artigo had practiced his growl before. It was a lot easier, and safer, than getting into a fight with the usual drunk in a bar. No puppy's growl was going to scare him off. In fact, he found it amusing that she would try it.

"Grr... so the puppy wants to play does she?"

"It depends on what game."

She smirked.

"But no hurting Puppy."

"If you want to play rough, than I won't hold back just because you're a girl. You pick the game."
