Max nodded and quickly got the samples. She got extra of the panda's blood, considering ti was unusual.

Max packed up and took off, Rose right behind her.

I know its somehwere in the south city, they are there already. Probabaly thin their safe too. I did'nt want to tell Rose this, but the mission Majot Hoffman sent me on...is pretty much a suicide run, to save their skins. We've got a massive attack force of Lycans moving through the city toward the south area, they mustve overheard our plan to take blood sample. Hoffman wants me to take care of it. If I die, tell Rose I...nevermind. Im gone, dont expect me to be back for quite some time. He loaded his rifle and walked out.

Rose kept a good pace with Max, due to the fact she was used to this.

She worried though. The escaped Lycans could be a problem...

Seth departed in a hurry. He had the M8 in hand, and he was dashing through the city. The yells and gunshots made it easy for him to find them. As he sat in his vantage point, he saw the Lycans regrouping, but it seemed their numbers had almost doubled. Seth knew this could be a problem. They were spread out, hidden but getting in a surrounding position of Max and Rose. Seth decided to play sniper, and hope those two wouldn't notice his support during the inevitable conflict.

Max went around a corner and met the barrel of a gun. It was one of the Lycans that had escaped from them alittle while ago.

"You killed my friends." He hissed and pulled the trigger. Max ducked barely in time, the bullet graxing her ear. She gripped it in pain.

Rose pulled her gun out and sent a bullet through his brain. She kneeled down.

"Max, we gotta move!" She said and helped her friend up.

He couldn't handle it. He had lost 17 good men to these beasts, he couldn't just sit and watch these two die. When Seth watched max duck, he pulled the trigger of his M8 in two controlled bursts. A few bullets pounded the Lycan in the chest, buying Max some time.

Rose didn't even care what had happened and sighed.

"I know you're gonna hate me later." Rose said and lifted her onto her back, using her species strength to an advantage.

Rose took off again and managed to get into a safe point. She sat Max down and pulled out a bandage, wrapping it around her head.

The pain was inense, but Max smiled alittle.

"Thanks. We should get back." She said and stood. Max made sure her gun was loaded and ran out, heading the secret way for HQ.

Seth had lost track of them, so the best he could do was hope they were safe. He had to leave before the Lycans located his vantage point. After running a short while, he made his way inside an abandoned store. He turned the counter into a fortified position he might be able to hold for a little bit.

Seth had hoped he saved his two friends. His own outlook was a bit bleak, however.

Max and Rose made it back alright and she headed for the lab.

DIfferent colored tubes of all sorts of things were evrywhere and she pulled out the blood. Max begin expierementing with it.

Rose sat down and leaned against a wall. She sighed alittle.

'Great, no one here.' It didn't even register Seth was missing.

Within 10 minutes, the Lycans located Seth. He lay behind the counter, he M8 thrown aside, jammed, and his .45 ringing out as the Lycans advanced. 3 Lycans lay dead, 2 more were approaching. He took a bullet to the knee, so he couldn't stand to run. He felt like giving up, and shooting himself before suffering whatever horrible death the Lycans would give him.

Suddenly, a gun rang out and the Lycans dropped dead.

Rose smield, pistol held up. "I'm not stupid and you're easy to track." She said and walked over.

Rose held out an arm. "Need me to carry you?"

"Not so much carry, but at least support my left side." Seth grimaced as Rose helped him to his feet, and he felt the blood running down his leg. "Maybe it was good I came. You two might've been screwed back there without my support. Even though I pulled them off of you and put them hot on my trail." He made sure to bring his M8 and all the empty clips with him so he could fix his gun and reload the mags. "I'm guessing a bunch of loud guns helped lead you here?"
