"Aww, looks like your friend isn't as tough as she looks." Kane smirked and Rose growled.
"YOU BASTARD!" She jumped on her brother and they both fell to the ground wrestling.

He was much slower than her still, and it took him some time before he got to her. Kane and her wrestled on the ground, rolling back and forth. He couldn;t risk killing Kane without stabbing her.

Rose finally managed to throw him off. His nails had cut her side: a long, thin trail of red showed through her ripped shirt. Rose sat up, her eyes wild. "I'm going to KILL YOU!"

'For the love of God do...' he thought to himself. He stood back, waiting to see if he would be needed. His gripped the sword tighter in his hand.

Kane growled and lunged for his sister, knocking her over. "You're weak Rose. You're heart blinds you."
Rose thrashed back and forth. "You're a heartless bastard!" She knocked him over and threw all her weight on him. "I'll see you in hell." She hissed and bit his throat, ripping it out. "Travis, give me your sword." She held up a hand.

He tossed the sword at her, and she caught it perfectly. He liked it when she was like this. It showed him how strong she really was.

Rose brought it down and cut his head clear off. She moved off him, still holding the sword.

"Travis, think you can handle getting out the venom?"

"What?"

He was a little confused. What the heck had just happened. She'd just killed her brother without so much as a second thought. No remorse...

"Sucking out the venom in Max."

Rose saw his face.

"Don't worry about Kane: He's been dead to me the minute I saw him holding Max. It's only life."

"You sure you can't take care of Max...I mean..."

She shook her head. This was awkward.

"Fine."

"Do not kill her." Rose slumped against the wall and took a shaku breath. No matter how strong she pretended to be, killing Kane had shaken her up. The body one the floor was the same one that had always been kind to her... Rose shivered.

"Thats what I'm worried about..."

He pressed his mouth to the wound and drew out the venom. It tasted foul. It took everything he had to stop himself from taking a bite.

'Oh my god, I just killed my big brother.' Rose put her face in ehr hands and tried not to cry, but a sob broke free.

He stood up and wiped his mouth. He'd resisted the urge, and spat out the poison angrily.

He noticed the look on Rose's face, but retrained from holding her. She needed time alone.

"I just killed my big brother..."

She couldn't help crying now.
