"You hypocrite. How can I get over something when you're not even following your own advice and getting over what's plaguing you? Oh, that's right. Because you need help. Why don't you get help? Right. You're too angry. At what?"

Miv started evening out her hair.

"It's nothing."

"Yeah, somehow I think you took that out a horse's ass and gave it to me. Something's up. Just tell me. Seriously, it'll make you feel better."

D'Artigo takes a few cautions steps toward Miv, but still leaves space between them.

She chopped off alot of her bangs.

"I'm fine."

"Yeah right. You know as well as I do that something inside you just snapped. Come on spit it out. We're as good as family here. Might as well let us know."

Miv kept tending to her hair, not speaking.

"Silence isn't going to relieve you of your worries Miv. All silence will do is make you more prone to outbursts, such as which you've already done. Now, hopefully, if you could simply talk, then it would relieve the stress slowly and effectively."

She looked back at him and the rest of the world fell away. Her eyes were pools of pain, raw pain.

"Please don't." Her voice was tiny, their surroundings still black. Time was stopped and Miv turned her face to the shadows.

"No Miv. Please do. Let us know. Let me know. I'll help with your pain."

Miv pulled her knees up to her chest and put her chin on them.

D'Artigo approaches Miv, closing the distance cautiously, coming over to kneel in front of her. "Come now Pale Rose. You know that I'm the one who you can trust. Feel the joy that is life. Eliminate the pain. Talk it through. I will listen."

She turned her head to look at him. Miv suddenly started coughing, blood coming out of her mouth.

A concerned look appeared on D'Artigo's face where his mask had been broken.

"No where have you been drinking blood from? Tell me."

"It's my heart...Ever since I was young I've been this way."

Miv started coughing again.

D'Artigo's eye changed from an expression of concern to one of shock.

"What? What condition is this? You shouldn't be pressing yourself so hard if you've a heart which doesn't contain all the fluid! Why didn't you tell us earlier?"
