P.S. There is so much that I could post for Alex already but I figure I'll wait for Nimu to get a post in edgewise, first, and then cover all bases at once... Poor ol' Sharpe's got a hotty at the door, a bast givin' him mental raspberries, and a slightly-left-of-center fencer giving him the third degree about being a magician all at once! Where did I say that scotch was?

Above the sink... but he might check under one of the book shelves, Smoke might have hid one under there for emergencies for him.

Oh God that would be awesome... watching him and Smoke desperatly crawling on the floor together searching under the book shelves, getting all dusty trying to find a bottle...

And of course if she -says- there is one there, there likely isn't... she'd just enjoy watching him make an out of himself...

What day of the week is it?
If figure the BBQ happened Friday or Saturday night, as that would be the busiest night of the club...
A few days after that would make it, Tuesday or Wednesday perhaps?

...I was thinking it was probably a Tuesday, myself. Not sure why, really, but that's the day I had in mind.

Cooked the Zazy on Friday or Saturday... Cops found the body on Sunday or Monday... Joe stopped by at 3 a.m. Tuesday after hanging on to that pendant for a while and going; "Y'know? Maybe Al knows somethin' about this..."

He didn't respond to kitty's remark about rolling his tongue back up... but then again... it might be best if he has finally learned how to block out her snotty comments

Let's chalk that one up to the following:

1. He was practically drooling on his shoes when the comment was made and it likely went "in one ear and out the other"
2. Rosie showed up with her ward in hand at about the same time and threw Alex's train of thought even farther off it's tracks than it usually is
and
3. I'm going on the assumption that Alex has no idea that Penelope is even the slightest bit Gifted (let alone an immortal) and, as such, is trying to 'tune Smoke out' for the moment so he doesn't appear to be the crazy guy that talks to his cat at random.

How's that?
