"I won't." She vowed. "But I do wish you would. Will you forgive me?" Miv held out a hand.

"Of course I will forgive you. You deserve that much." D'Artigo took Miv's hand in his own.

"Perhaps when this world is safe I will take it off. For now though... no."

She sighed. "I hate being able to feel. I liked it back when emotions were barely tangible." Miv frowned.

"Why do you hate feeling? Is feeling not the only sign to remind us that somewhere, deep down, we are alive? Not just mindless creatures that suck the life out of others, but people who can experience the world?"

"Because it confuses me. I feel warm right now, all fuzzy... it's disgusting." She wrinkled her nose.

"Warm is nice. It's better than being cold and frozen out of your mind, is it not?"

"No. It feels like fur is inside me." She shook her head. "Disgusting."

"Have you ever eaten a live creature before? A furry live creature, still with the skin on?"

"No. It's definatley an emotion." Miv shook her head. "Emotions give you strange thoughts..."

"I'm simply asking, because if you haven't eaten a furred creature before, then how do you know that if feels like fur inside you?"

"Because I can FEEL it, duh!"

"I'm just saying it's odd that you have that frame of reference as to having fur inside you when it doesn't seem like you've actually ever had real fur inside of you. A strange thing indeed." D'Artigo's partially exposed eye winks at Miv. He was having far too much fun with this.

"Well, I can be creative." Miv tilted her head. "It's not entirely umpleasant..."

"You can be creative, I'll give you that. Although, I must say, your creativeness seems to have altered your thinking. First you said it was disgusting, and now it is not so bad?"

"Well, it feels sorta nice. Disgusting, but nice."
