"Erina."

She wouldn't say anymore.

Erina flew up higher.

She didn' wish to speak to any of them

Except the Angel, strangely enough.

"Angel makes you sad does she? Merely because of the burning statement, is that it? Well then..."

With a small jerk of his hand, followed by a release and a grab with the same arm, D'Artigo pulls Miv closer, sliding his arm around her waist.

"Don't worry Pale Rose" he coos. "I am here. The two of you sisters? I find that hard to believe. Friends maybe. And friends have fights. Let her apologize to you. In the meanwhile... I can help you."

She looked at his arm around her.

Miv felt her face heat up.

"Thank you." She mumbled.

D'Artigo's eyes began to shift, but this time not to red, as normal in his blood lust and hunt. This time, they shift to a bright silver, with small gold flecks appearing throughout them. A faint scraping from the other side of his mask signals the extension of his fangs. Staring Miv in the eyes, his eyes seem to mix with each other, making the gold flecks in his eyes move around, not simply stay in one place. His voice, silky smooth, and sweeter than the sugarcane spoke softly.

"Just remember Pale Rose. I may call you my queen, but this is not important. You are a child of the night. My child of the night. Mine you are, and shall be. Pale Rose... admire the eyes. You will not see my face. My face is not to be seen. Not by you four anyways. Yet. Love the eyes. Not the man." A slurping sound is audible from behind his mask, as though he is licking his lips behind the mask, though having a tough time reaching all around them.

"Now if you'll excuse me..." His eyes change from the silver and gold to a blood red. A small growl comes from his throat. "The hunt is on."

As D'Artigo runs off the path, he calls back. "I will meet up with you later. The hunt calls, and I am thirsty. There will be someone... I mean, something of which I can drink the blood of. Something... tasty."

Miv smiled slightly and caught up to the Angel. She matched paces and looked at her.

Miv's midnight hair fell around her face, framing it. It made her look even paler than usual, washing the color away. But it made her glow, like she had sucks up the last light.

"You seem to be uneasy around us. And you also seem to be...trusting Erina more than an Angel should." Miv's voice was lidden with amusement and she flashed a smile at the Angel.

"Don't betray the rest of us." Miv warned.

Repressing a shudder at the necessary feeding habits of the vampires, Lamiel noticed that the remaining one had moved up beside her. "Trust? Maybe I'm trusting all of you more than I should, but someone must trust first. Call it a show of good faith, if you will."

The pale vampire and the dark angel walked in silence next to one another for a few moments, then Lamiel turned to Miv, "Do you think I'm under some kind of illusion thatt if I betrayed you four, I would live to tell the tale? Out here, alone and unarmed? I'm not that kind of a fool..."

Miv smiled again and patted the Angel's head.

"Good girl. Let's just hope I don't get...thirsty." Miv smirked and fell back again.

Erina watched the others while going higher.

She smiled at all of them. It felt good to be able to fly away from the others, if only for alittle while. Erina loved the way the wind tangled her hair and made her wings flutter from the slight pressure.

Erina sighed though, knowing she would exhaust herself if she kept this up without sleep. Erina dropped and landed perfectly beside Miv.

"Did your lover ditch you?" She teased.

Miv sighed and tried to distance herself alittle from Erina.

"No, he's hunting. Lonely, Birdgirl?"

"At least I don't look like someone took me out of the grave." Erina said and stormed off.

She took up her spot by the Angel again.

Miv watched Erina walk away.

She sighed alittle: Usually it was Erina who envied her friends. Now she envied Erina's.

Erina started talking idly about the most random things, just trying to lose time.

Without the other, it was too quiet.

Jessica stayed behind the group. She hissed when the lycan biter called her kitty. She supress her temper and kept away from him. She listen to the fight. When Lycan biter was gone. She turned into human form. She caught up to Miv and asked "Warn me if that other vampre comes back? Tell him not to call me kitty. I can't talk in animal form." Miv nodded and Jessica smiled. She could look for Julia while in this group.

Miv was glad at least the Lycan was on her side.

She looked up at Erina again.
