Ok, I missed something in all of these posts.  I was thinkng Charlie was going alone. 

Do you want Fixer along?  Anyone else?  He'll go where directed at this point as he doesn't quite fit in any task at the moment.  If not, he'll stay and continue to surf the net.  He'd look for images of the tram - can he find security cameras reasonably near from which he might identify people in uniform heading toward the compound?  Similar questions for nearby roads.  This seems like needle in a haystack work, but it is possible. He'd also try and up the resolution on any images he did find to see if they can indicate camera locations and such, but since Brom already indicated a dead end there, I doubt it is worth it.  So Fixer is probably free to roam if anyone wants a partner for some task.

Or if anyone has a suggestion for something he can do he'd likely follow that . . .

Should we not send some of the team, those that do not go with Charlie, out to pick-up Cipher and Guardian? Then after that they head over to the Hieghts and do recon and to just watch the place while Cipher does her tech stuff.

We have two vehicles and it only makes sense to me that both things get done. Charlie's Tong meeting and an onsite recon to prep to breach the Hieghts.

Also Brom here's a good question, How will Charlie's meeting with the Tong and my meet with the Yakuza effect team over all. Tong and Yakuza are not friends as far as I can recall in the present day.

I think the best use of Fixer's skills would to be on site at the compound to investigte security. 

Unless there is a way to figure out how to disguise ourselves to gain entry as noted above.  As for joining Charlie, he'd do it, but it really depends on if people think that would be useful.  I'm not sure I see that unless Charlie thinks it will come off looking better if he has backup. 

 

I like the idea and your enthusiasm but there are some fundamental problems with the idea. In order for Fixer to do anything with the security—including looking for it—he would need to have a Netrunner provide him with access unless he's onsite. As a techie, he's good with the mechanical aspects of equipment, even electrical, but not digital.

I think that is why we were talking about going onsite.

As for looking - my only thought was that if there are even pictures he might identify camera locations.  But onsite was the thing.

I'm thinking that we are "end users"... so it doesn't matter. Think of it as High school again. 

your a "jock" but you go and visit the band member, while I visit the drama, chess or debate team. WE are dealing with them as characters and individuals. You don't tell others about what you know and can do. Chances are... they don't really care. we are just a "means to an end for them". It all about WHAT can you do for me, funk everyone else kinda thing. 

You as Casino might get a job offer, you have two choices. Help or not help. that is kinda the same for me right now. 

But..... like Brom said every action has a reaction, right?. 

So, in short it doesn't matter whom we deal with mostly, its only our action as we deal with them, you let them know your business then expect them to dictate things to you.

Just be careful in your actions and RUN if they come after you, *. 

I really suggest staying in a large group but if not, then please try to tell someone where and what you are doing so we can start another "rescue".

I like what's happening here. This is good teamwork and planning.

So, as I understand it...

1. Casino is off to meet with the Yakuza by taxi.
2. Charlie and Echo are heading out to meet with the Tong, the identity of which Charlie hasn't really shared using Charlie's truck.
3. Ghlahn is heading to Temecula Heights to do some visual recon using the rented van.
4. Blossom is sticking around at the apartment to see what assistance she can provide Cipher.
5. Cipher and Guardian need to find a spot where Cipher can jack in to perform her net run.
6. Vegas is trying to find out what he can about the Temecula Heights compound.

Where's Fixer going? Who is planning on picking up Cipher and Guardian?

Hey, guys.
I'm new to Cyberpunk, this will be the first time I've ever played it. So, what does Guardian have to do, exactly? I see that he has to monitor Cipher's vitals or something whilst she's jacked in. What are those vitals? I'm just unsure exactly what to do.
