"I'm not sure as to what we should do at the moment. But I do know that I have to agree with Jethro. Let's set up camp, search the bodies, and discuss it over dinner. Everyone thinks better with food in their bellies."

What does everyone think we do first?

Do we attempt to do anything to the bodies, or just leave them?

This might get crazy.

I do wish there was some way we could've waited for more people then me, gboy, and admiral to speak on the matter before executing him. dragonblood, kod, and jozan still needed their say.

But, what's done is done. Time to keep pressing forward.

Okay, we're past that encounter, but yet we still know absolutely nothing about why they attacked us, how they knew about the map, how they knew we were the ones with it, and all that good stuff.

We've got some work to do.

Bezmir watched Zau clench her hands around a few blades of grass, and he lightly lobbed a rock at her. "Hey, Zau. I don't know what's going on, but just relax. You and the non-eating lady are probably the reason me and Shepherd are still alive. And you looked flabbergasted that I can talk about food now. Well, I'm a man. I've gotta eat." Bezmir stroked the wolf that was still circling him. "If you try to bite me ever again buddy, we're gonna have problems. Your teeth hurt."

Subject: Velina...

After helping Bearspaw to his feet, Kannizan walked off before he could prepare the finishing blow. He heard Velina's words and agreed. "So our heir is gone. If we're working as a team, our leaders need to be elected, not a self proclaimed judge. But, what's done is done. I suppose I see his need to die, but I still believe the man could've changed." Kannizan put his arrow in front of Ether's arrow. "The barbarian will handle that one. You can ease up."

Kannizan hit the ground hard, but it seemed Bearspaw hit harder. He turned his head just as he heard Ether's words, and watched the arrow strike the man. In his rage at the cleric of Sheverash, he completely forgot about Bearspaw. While he was down, he began to yell at Ether. "Tell me, Ether, how your beliefs and dogma should allow you the right to choose whether this man lives or dies? I've said it once, and I'll say it once more. We decide this man's fate as a group. If you hoped taking the matter into your own hands would cease the fighting, then you did the wrong things for the right reasons." Kannizan watched the man bleeding, and knew that nothing he could say would change a fanatic of a god. I hate religion, he thought, as he watched his idea bleed out onto the ground. This man has the capacity to be just as good as any of them. He wanted to lop off both Bearspaw and Ether's heads at that moment, but he held his ax at bay, watching as the man stumbled up, swearing. he simply sighed, stood up, turned his back to the half elf, and offered bearspaw his hand. "Maybe next time you'll think twice before judging a dwarf by his height." He kept his head turned away, not daring to watch the mans slaughter by a so called righteous man.

"Look brute. We need to able to function as one body, and keep peace and contentment within the group. And we're not letting him go yet. We'll decide what to do after everyone agrees. That's why I still have him. So calm your bloodlust, and if he doesn't give us what information we want, then he's all yours." Kannizan had bellowed this to the charging barbarian, and he stayed steadfast in his stance.

[[OOC. Would that be a good place to attempt to intimidate the halfelf?]]

"Well, I'm all human, and I like food." Bezmir sat whistling a little tune to himself, tapping his feet along.

He had a feeling everyone would be alright, so he let himself relax, and go back to his whimsical nature. He was drinking again, and he offered a sip to everyone around him.

It had been a week. Nobody knew what hit, all anybody knew was that people were going crazy. It seemed like the entire population of NYC had went crazy over the past week. Cannibalistic, even. Some people were calling them zombies, but they weren't zombies. They were intelligent, they used weapons, they could talk. They were just people. With a rather insatiable appetite for human flesh and blood.

Seth was now sitting in a safe house. When the army swept through, they left areas that could be heavily barricaded to provide a place to rest. They were usually houses with bared windows, thick metal doors, and metal walls. They were basically giant bomb shelters. The awesome thing about them, is they were stocked with weaponry.

That's why Seth was here. He was trying to find out if his family was still here, or if they were even alive. Well, at least he was curious about his mom and brother. His dad could rot in hell. He puffed on a cigarette as he thought, and he was tapping the muzzle of his pistol. There were other people inside the safe house, but he didn't know them all that well.

Living wasn't certain in the city. But fighting was.

The screams of Bearspaw made Kannizan snap his head and look in the direction. Seeing him charge, Kannizan knows this might not end well. "Look, half-elf. I promised you I would let the entire group decide, so don't worry. He may rough you up a little bit, but I'll make sure he doesn't kill you. And if he wants to touch you, he'll have to go through me." Kannizan then turned, facing away from the barbarian, so he could position himself in the way but keep an eye on his quarry. "Bearspaw, we are not to harm him until everyone decides on his punishment!" He yelled this as loud as he could, hoping he'd be heard.

Subject: yeah...I think.

Bezmir used a nearby fallen limb to help him stand. "Yeah...I hope so. Thanks Zau." He made his way slowly to where Shepherd was laying, and he watched as Marie worked her skill. Bezmir's bardic talents were not lost with his lute. He let his voice carry out a soft tune, that felt relaxing enough to ease the party, and their nerves calmed down. There were no words, it was more of humming, but the notes held magic in them. Bezmir traveled far looking for ancient tunes, for they were often magical.

He kept trying to sit down, but one of the wolves made it hard for him to move without hitting it. Judging by the blood around it's mouth, he assumed this was the one that took our a chunk of his leg. As he looked up at his party, all busying themselves, he asked a simple, childlike question.

"What's for dinner?"

We still have him. All I've done is taken his hand from the sword hilt to make sure he doesn't use it to attack us. If you guys feel like questioning, kill off the cleric. Or we can keep both and compare their stories. Cause you have a good point, he probably won't go against Bane.

We might be able to get similar info out of the half elf, and he's already submitted to us, so do you wanna just kill the cleric and take this guy as a prisoner and question him and whatnot?

Bezmir's confused anger blinded him. He didn't shoot as he neared the wolves, but instead jumped on top of one, trying to drag it to the ground. He was young, foolish, arrogant, and now he was missing a chunk of his leg. He tried to shove his blade into ones side, but it kept evading him. They were taunting him. But all their focus had been put on Bezmir, so they didn't pay attention to anything else going on around them.

"Something tells me that'll be hard. We'll try, and if he doesn't come around," the slide on the ivory handles pistol slid forward, "I'll put a shot in his brains." Seth looked at Travis. He wouldn't want this kind of confusion on his worst enemy. "Hey, new Travis. Do you want a gun?"

"So our Max is going with us. Now, do we kill Doctor Max the Lycan? I don't wanna let him live. He had something to do with my soldiers death."

Seth watched after her, worried. This wasn't a good time to have the group start falling apart. But, it wasn't to be helped. They had a fight ahead of them. "Travis. One thing. Once we find out what information you need, are we going to take our Max?"

Kannizan heard the half-elf's plea. "You seem like you possibly might want to repent. I have mercy. I'm not a killer. But you see, my comrades will have to mutually decide." Kannizan pulled his grip from the sword and set his axe against the mans arm. "But if you try anything, I'll kill you and save us the time."
