Yes, I hate the act of education. But it is a necessary thing. But in my eyes, reality is different than what elements make up salt. Yes, the hammer will shape my bones. Yes, it will hurt. But I believe perceptions can alter our reality.

While Seth was confused, he happened to look at his arm. It was covered in scratches, probably from shoving his arm down that spiders mouth.

I just believe differently.
I have long debates with myself at night, and the things I have come up with are as follows:
1. A person can shape his or her reality.
2. Reality isn't definite
3. Noone really knows what reality is.
It's kind of like the question "is the apple really red, or is it just red because you've been taught it's red?"

I agree with you there, Ryst, but mind over matter can change that outcome.
I used to be a big druggie, so I know about hallucinations pretty good. If you tell yourself that hammer blow doesn't hurt as much, or if you take your mind off of it, it doesn't hurt as bad. So that reality of pain is only perceived. Yes, the body is still deformed, and bones are still broken, but pain can be defeated. And reality is shaped by the senses.
