Topic: Forgotten Realms: Edge of Darkness
Subject: Uryuu

Uryuu slung his bow back over his shoulder, moving towards the group. Now that the battle was over, he gave himself 30 seconds to beat himself up over his part in the battle, then put it out of his mind. He was pleased that the woman had escaped harm, although he couldn't fathom why. He listened to her speech and at the introduction/dialgue that followed, shaking his head. So much talking, so little action. There would be time for introductions later. Judging by their behavior so far, however, the only one he could count on in the long run was the seafarer... Basyl, apparently. He ground his teeth at the irony.

”I thank you most sincerely for the use of your weapon, and for freeing me of my bonds. I must say it is quite an unusual weapon, the likes of which I’ve never before seen. What is it called, please?”

Uryuu took it from her, spinning it in his hand and stowing it with a flourish. "It is called Kukri." He looked around, picking up on Basyl's plans for the only survivor. "I shall follow in the darkness," he said. with a last look at all of then, and a lingering glance towards the woman fighter, he melted into the forest, blood pounding in his ears. In his time as a slave, he had seen more than his fair share of rapists, and it took all of his considerable training to keep from losing himself. Uryuu was far from the most moral of people, but there were some lines no sentient being should cross. He closed a shaking fist, calming himself as he moved. Save the anger.... save it, and unleash it in small bursts, when it will help you, his training told him. Uryuu followed after his companions when they decided they were ready to move. He planned to unleash it soon.

He did not waste time beating himself up. The most season warrior missed a shot from time to time, whether by mistake, bad luck, or design. He simply noched another arrow and let fly.

(((OOC: Uryuu will shoot the man heading towards him while trying to stealthily move away. Once down, he shall aim at whichever target he deems most important, balancing between ease to hit, liklihood of hitting a team mate (he's against it, obviously) and threats posed to himself and the team.)))

Topic: Forgotten Realms: Edge of Darkness
Subject: Uryuu Shybaa

Uryuu felt her gaze linger for a moment. He rushed to help her up, handing her his kukri. He strung the bow, retreating into the shadows across the way, his eyes still on the fighter. He had never seen a woman fight. Indeed, he had always believed them incapable. Women where Uryuu was from were soft, pretty things that required protection.
He ran a warrior's eye over her frame. Potential.

He turned his attention back to the task at hand. These ignorant brutes had no idea what they were walking into. Though he cared not for the name, he had earned the title Ocean's Fury. They would face a man strong and fluid as the sea, and soon be helplessly lost in shadow......

(((OOC: Uryuu will do his best to remain hidden while firing arrows, keeping an eye out for the attacks of oppurtunity in which he specializes)))
