Aerick couldn't help but listen in on the conversation. An Elf hunting a Drow to avenge her fallen King and Queen, attempting to drive out a merciless army from her homeland, adventuring with an Old Wizard and a Halfling! Turning towards the group at the table, Aerick grinned.

"The old man is right about the Drow, best to follow him at night and catch him during the day. I hope you don't mind, but if you'd have me I would gladly join you on the noble quest. Nothing cheers my heart like restoring a families honour!"

With a hearty laugh the dwarf slid off his bar stool and held out a hand to the Elf. "My name is Aerick Ironhelm, I hope you don't mind having a dwarf help you out, but I can't be left out of something as grand as this." He stared up at the Elf with a large grin, hand still hanging in the air.

Slipp stood in the back of the hoverbot, looking in awe at the generosity of Friend Computer. Sure something seemed wrong with the Jackobot, but having access to a hoverbot was much more exciting. Searching his pockets, Slipp found one of his supplements and ate it with glee.

"Surely Friend Computer wouldn't mind that I'm trying to stay in perfect condition. If only I could fix that annoyance of a tic. If I could, I could prove I'm the only loyal one here, and then I could turn the others in as traitors!"

Slipp laughed to himself quitely as he took another supplement from his pocket and popped it in his mouth. Staring off into the distance he wondered how fun the mission will be protecting someone with Green clearance.

Subject: So I heard you liked to be scared?

So I've been watching a youtube commentator who goes by the name Pewdiepie. He does a lot of horror games, mostly Amnesia the Dark Descent. But recently I found one game series that he has done that is actually quite amusing and frightening, and all because of the atmosphere. SCR-087 is the series name. I my self have downloaded the Endless Staircase and have already chickened out 2 minutes in, because of my own shadow in game. Anyone know of more fun and terrifying games out there for pc?

EDIT: http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-087 <--- A link to their homepage. Enjoy!

Aerick walked briskly through the mud ridden streets as the rain started to come down even harder. Pulling his cloak tighter over his small frame the Dwarf picked up his pace as he saw the glow of the Blind Pig Tavern ahead of him. "Doesn't seem like much but it'll keep me dry for the night."

Pushing open the door, Aerick stumbled inside not realizing how deep the mud had actually been. Shaking himself off he let his hood fall back as he looked around the tavern. He noticed the odd group at the table consisting of an Elf, Halfling and an Old man. They didn't seem like a threat and neither did anyone else here. Walking up to the bar and propping himself on a stool, Aerick slammed his Axe down on the bar with a pile of coins and called out for a drink for himself and everyone sitting at the bar. What better way to get warm and dry then by sharing a drink with a few locals? Looking back around the room he noticed the odd group seemed to be swapping stories like old friends. "Let's see if I can hear what they're talking about." Aerick scootched his stool over closer to the table whilst trying to not make to much noise so he could hear the conversation. Once he was comftorable the dwarf bought another drink and strained his ears to hear what the others were chatting about.

Subject: MCR inspired Shadowrun Game

I've been listening to the MCR album "Danger Days" a bit recently and after watching music videos me and a friend have decided it's time for me to Gm a Shadowrun game, based off this album. It'll be ran over the summer and I was wondering if anyone has input on this. Basic outline is this~

The country Bliss is run by the Mega-Corporation Bli/Nd from their HQ in the Capitol city of Freedom. They have all citizens under their control by the use of chips implanted into the eyes and ears that can shut downs the senses of sight and sound so the citizens can't see or hear things they shouldn't. A side effect of this is that all citizens have pale eyes with a smiley face imprinted in them. Males and Females are seperated in the city unless it is time to repopulate. There a a few people known as anonymous who have managed to hack and disable their chips, they stay undercover in the city feeding information to the Anarchist group known as the Kill-Joys whom live in the Anarchists Wastes surrounding Bliss. The Kill-Joys have split themselves into many nomadic camps that patrol the desert to protect their leader known only as Dr. Death-De-Fy. I've thought on the beginning a bit since the players start out working for Bli/Nd and end up with the Kill-Joys.

So what do you guys think? I'm open to criticism and ideas.

I played a Human Monk/Rogue once and my my was it amazing. He was extremely skilled, loved shurikens and would start combat with stealth. From there sneak attack an enemy then use a monk's power to shove the enemies away so he could run and hide again. I'm not allowed to play then anymore

So my friend let me borrow Diablo II for awhile, but for some reason it isn't working. I have windows 7 Home Premium, and so does he, but it doesn't seem to like my laptop. I've been through so many different sites and tried so many different programs but nothing works. I was hoping maybe someone here has some technical know-how and could possibly help. Thanks!

Subject: World of Darkness zombie ideas

I'm not sure if I posted in the right thread, but I'm running a WoD game for some friends soon and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how I could make a good horror story out of it. I'm starting it off as a basic free roam in a city that has become ground zero. The group consists of a doctor, gunslinger, riot officer, medieval archer, and a martial artist. I've played 4e with the group before and they were really good, but I'm just not sure how I can make a zombie infection scarier. I'm open to any ideas, the only one I have involves the Black Helicopter conspiracy. Thanks and I'll move this thread if I have to!

Topic: The Flight of the Dawn Falcon
Subject: Resupplying

Kamina awoke with a start, and for a split second couldn't remember where he was. Then the memories of the past 8 months came flooding back to him. Laying back down, he smiled to himself as he recounted all the surgeries that've been successful by his hand. Kamina still found it amazing how easy it was people hurt themselves out in that Wasteland of a Desert. Yawning, he rolled onto the floor and jumped up to grab his clothes; Black slacks, a Tan shirt, his favourite Doctor's Coat and his infamous, Beaked Mask.

Wandering through the hold he stepped out of the way of some engineers running bye. Elly must be in need of parts if they're being sent out enmass... It still amazes me she hasn't been to my office yet, odd girl she is. Finally at his first destination Kamina slipped into the galley and snuck out a slice of bread and small hunk of cheese. Hopefully Mama-Bear doesn't miss these, but I'd rather not wait for lunch. Walking up the stairs onto the main deck Kamina stretched and let out another yawn as the sun hit his masked face. OI Ardis! I'm heading out to resupply, I'll be back and forth so stop me if you need anything! With that he stepped onto the gangplank and wandered into the slums he used to call home.

God's, this place is just as bad as when I left, the old man still better be here. Kamina walked with ease through the crowds as he worked his way deeper into the slums. After half an hour, he finally made it to his destination, The Greasy Cog. One of the filthiest bars in the slums, but also the best place to find strong alcohol used by those fancy doctors in the city. Holding his breath as he entered, Kamina was still met with the stench of dried vomit, cheap food, and booze. Trying not to gag as he walked up to the counter he locked eyes with the old man behind the counter. Hey Doc, long time no see. Here for the usual? Kamina nodded, not wanting to speak in the case he might lose his breakfast. As he pulled out his money the old mad walked into the back room, two minutes later he walked back out with 3 unlabelled boxes. Placing the money on the counter, Kamina lifted the boxes and turned to the door. Once I get these back to the Dawn Falcon I can go look for some more leather straps and blades. Kamina smiled as he exited the bar and made his way back to the ship.

I'm glad we have Elly along with us, I'm not 100% the Doc would understand the Old World tech or how to use it And with the heart monitor it could always just be taken out and Doc could have basic medical knowledge on checking pulse, CPR, and all those other little non-machine based doctor tricks.

I know how you feel about internet problems, they're a pain. And alright, I'll make them more, space-efficient. Also I read a small article about how wounds infested with maggots heal much more quickly and without spread of infection... How common are maggots?

Topic: Dawn Falcon Q&A
Subject: Medical Equipment Approval

I've been thinking of a couple of small machines the Doc could have in the medical bay and I was wondering if they could be approved since some of them are a bit strange. The first is a steam cauterizer, basically its a gun-like object attached by pipes and gears to a small steam generator and its purpose is to blast either a small, or stitched up wound with enough steam to cauterize it. Another would be a steam/clockwork powered stomach pump, just in case someone ingests something they shouldn't. My third idea was a a steam powered saw, somewhat like a table saw, to be used to amputate limbs that have become infected or broken beyond repair blah, blah, blah. My final idea is basically a steam powered heart monitor, like the ones where you get your arm tightened by the strange rubber thing then it calculates your blood pressure or something? It'd basically be one of those but instead of monitors and beeps for calculating it'd be little whistles and gusts of steam. You have the final say in these tools but they're just ideas. Thanks and can't wait to start the game!

Subject: Oh! Sense has been made

I believe the way I was thinking of it was that the Doc had been introduced to the crew at one of it's last stops, so he is new but still knows the faces of the crew. As for location in the city he'd be looking for alcohol to use as an anesthetic and sterilizer. Maybe some leather straps to hold down the skittish patients. Sorry for being a little unclear
