Topic: A new Pathfinder Adventure
Subject: A new Pathfinder Adventure

The town of Dalhurst. A small town nestled in the Creht Mountains on the border of Runewen Kingdom. Hidden away from the world and wary of outsiders, the people of Dalhurst survived for many years on their own. Travellers would come and go, though they never felt welcome. The occasional trader would come from the small mountain town to gather supplies when they were needed. Many people believe the town has died out for no one has seen travellers or traders coming from the mountain trails in over three months now. There are whispers of dark magic being the cause, or perhaps a rampaging monster. Although there are many rumours, no one knows what really happened to Dalhurst. Spring is coming and the mountain roads are once again opening. Rumour has it that someone is hiring adventurers to journey with them into the Creht Mountains and discover what really happened to the small mountain town.

Now that I have your attention, and you can see what sort of adventure this may be, I am looking for 4-5 players to make a 3rd level pathfinder character for this adventure. Posting would be once a week as per usual. If anyone is interested or has more questions feel free to post here or message me! 20 point buy system for attributes, as for races I'll be fine with anything paizo, 3rd party races must be brought to my attention so I can look them over. Same goes for classes, 3rd party comes to me first. As for starting gold, 3,000gp + class starting amount. (I.e. 3rd level Fighter gets 3,175gp) Regular fantasy so monsters and magic are known in the world.

The game is taking place in a world I'm developing and the country you're currently in is called Runewen, a mountainous and forested region. It's considered one of the more peaceful countries/kingdoms in the world. Well known for it's Griffin mounts and it's order of Grey Wardens whom hunt down Necromancers and other unsavoury individuals who are involved with the undead. Erastil is the main god of the region, other churches for different gods are welcome and not frowned upon. King Chester Runewen XII rules the kingdom as his father and grandfather did before him. Well loved by his people and well known for his interest in magical artifacts, he is well on his way to being as famous as his grandfather King Loghain, whom rescued the Runewen throne from a coup that cost the family the throne for two generations.

As I said this world is still in development so I'm willing to be lenient with character back stories and allegiances, etc. Anyways, hope this is enough to stir up interest.

I'll take a look at the pdf and figure out some kind of concept for a hero. This sounds like it'd be real fun and like Chessic, I haven't touched M&M before so I'll probably be asking a few questions if that's ok!

As the group followed the Quarren on to his ship, Valum looked over to Levince as he walked to a different trooper. Turning to the ship, he walked up the boarding ramp to catch the Quarren's speech. "This is the King's Kruise, this ship shall be treated with the utmost respect, is that understood?!" "She may not look like much, but she will get us where we need to go, that I promise." Valum looked to the Quarren as he walked away from the group, not paying much attention to the droid's snide comments. Once the droid stopped talking he followed the group as they were led to their rooms.
---------------------------------------
Three days passed on board the King's Kruise, and in those three days Valum learned very little about the ones he was travelling with. He knew enough about Sergeant Levince, he was a special clone with a special mission, and Valum was not to interfere. The Trandoshan was big, bulky, and obviously had a temper. Valum did not see much of him when he wandered the ship, which he didn't mind. The Quarren pilot on the other hand he almost always saw in the cockpit with the uppity droid. As much as he wanted to talk with crew of the ship, he couldn't bring himself to cram in to the tiny cockpit.

The most interesting thing to happen was on the third day when they exited hyper space. As he was wandering the ship he heard the pilot's voice come over the comms. "We got company. Ima try to get us out of here... Stay tight.." Valum made his way to the cockpit to listen in on the conversation between the droid and the Quarren.

"72 Delta 89b, this is the Miraculous of the Confederate Police Force. Captain Aryg speaking. We are on the search for Republic spies. Cargo, my crew, armor and equipment." He speaks, sounding ALMOST professional... "We are on a bit of a time crunch, Delta, so if we could wrap this up..."

"Verifying designation, please stand by."
"Captain Aryg, your designation has been cleared. Continue on your mission with utmost haste."

Once he heard the all clear, Valum stepped closer to the Quarren and his droid. "Well it appears we passed the first hurdle in this mission. Shall we be on our way men?"

Hodges and Slade stood around the door, rifles at the ready as the groaning continued. They could both hear what sounded like metal grating on metal from the other side of the door. "Well Hodges, guess we got what we've always wanted. Hero's of the Republic and all that."
--------------------------------------------
Riggs started digging through the scrapped droids for parts as he set the two power packs beside him. He started piecing together two highly improvised and most likely unstable bombs.

((OOC: 30 on Mechanics))
--------------------------------------------
Gyro sat staring at the camera screen into the hangar. Looking for the movement again, he started searching the computer systems for other camera settings. He managed to find a Infra-Red filter and quickly switched the camera to that. As he looked over the hangar once more, he swore he could see a heat source behind the wreckage of the ship, although he still could not make out what it was.

Callin sat off to the side of the table poking at his food while the others talked strategy. He was still sore from the horse ride to Mandala, and was loathe that he would have to be back in the saddle the next day.

He spent the next little while tuning in and out of the conversation, he looked up at the mention of Father Konrad being replaced by two others. Callin barely gave them a glance as he looked to Tor, gauging her reaction. He tuned back out again until he heard Tor mention his name while pointing at the map of the hood. "Callin would access the other semi-permanent villages here and here." While the others talked about the plan, Callin pulled out his bag from under his chair and started rifling through his equipment."Tor, what would you say these villages are like? Just want to know how light I should be travelling."

Riggs and Gyro sat in the control room staring at the different control panels and computers. Gyro sifted through the dead hallways seeing the same thing over and over again. As he passed over the Hangar camera again he could have sworn he saw movement near the destroyed husk of a ship. Meanwhile Riggs stared silently at his console, unsure of what to do next.
------------------------------------------------
Slade walked up beside Hodges and looked over to him. "We just gotta stick to our guns and I'm sure we'll make it through this. Like you said, clankers got horrible aim." As Slade let out a small chuckle the doorway behind them let out a small groan, as if something was being pushed againt it. Slade immediately stepped back and levelled his rifle with the doorway.

The Party: As the party had finally regrouped, and Lore started to worry about Amera, the crowd surged forward catching everyone with it. Within minutes they had been pushed from the Ferris Wheel closer and closer to the Big Top tent in the center of the park. As they drew nearer to the tent, they couldn't help but notice the sky grow darker and more ominous.

As the crowd pushed forward once more, the party was swept inside the tent and dragged in to the bleachers. Once the energy in the tent died down and everyone was seated a single light came on in the center of the tent. In the spotlight stood a tall man dressed all in black, Amera and Jade immediately recognized as the one who gave them the black roses earlier in the night. Raising his hands, he dropped a black cloak from his shoulders and spoke with a loud and booming voice. "WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO THE DARK CARNIVAL'S ONE AND ONLY FREAK SHOW. PLEASE SIT BACK AND ENJOY THE WORLD'S MOST HORREDNOUS SITES. TREMBLE IN FEAR, QUAKE IN AGONY, WATCH AS THE FREAK'S COME TO LIFE!" As his voice stopped, the light suddenly shut off and the whole tent was left in the dark. Murmurs could be heard among the crowd as people talked amongst themselves about what they may see. The party sat together blind in the dark and unsure of what would happen next. Jade clung to Amera while they sat.

"Ya, I got a ship for ya... And it can hold ALOT of supplies..." Valum looked up to the Quarren as he spoke. Nodding, he motioned for Sergeant Levince to follow as he walked out the door after the Quarren. Looking to Levince, he couldn't help but chuckle. "We have quite the team assembled don't we Sergeant?" Moving forward, Valum kept his foot steps in time with the Quarren's ahead of him as to not fall behind, yet not catch up either.

He glanced to his right as he heard the heavy set footsteps of the Trandoshan come up beside him. Look, guy, I'm game to do what we need to do, but I have to know if we'll be landing on any of these planets we're gonna find..." Continuing at his pace, he looked up to the Trandoshan's face as best he could. "I can not garuntee we will land on every planet that we come across. If there are possible allies to be found we will be sure to land so we can talk to whichever leaders we may need to for support. Other then that I can not tell you much more."

A few minutes later as they arrived at the hangar, Valum stepped forward to talk to the clones loading their supplies on to the Quarren's ship. "Excuse me privates, where can I find the Loadmaster?" One of the clones looked to Valum as he walked by with a crate of rations. "Jigsaw's over there sir, talking with Sarge." Valum nodded as he walked towards the Sergeant and Jigsaw. "Sergeant, Loadmaster Jigsaw. Have the preparations been completed?" "Yes sir, we just have a couple of smaller ration and medical supply crates to put in the cargo hold and everything will be ready for departure." Putting his hand on the clone's shoulder, Valum gave what was considered a smile among Kel Dor. "Very good, I will have my team ready to board as soon as your troopers are done. Job well done men!"

Walking back to the party Valum greeted them with open arms. "Preparations are almost complete and we can board this ship and proceed with our mission. If there are any questions feel free to ask me now or onboard." Stepping aside, he motioned for the Quarren to board his ship first.

[OOC] ((I was asked by Sadaar to get us to the ship to help speed things up. Feel free to post anything if you talked during our walk to the ship!))

"I signed up for this thing because it was dangerous- because there are gonna be monsters to gut, sharpie. You think I'm kiddin' about why I'm here?" Nodding Valum looked towards the Quarren. "Aye, I suppose. Violence, bloodshed, dramatic climaxes. Sounds like my gig. So what's the job?"

Taking his own seat at the table, Valum began speaking to his two new compatriots. "As you both know the Republic is not in the best state in this war. Our forces continue to be cut off from loyal colonies, and the seperatist General Grevious is cutting through our ranks in every battle. Now, Special Forces Commander General Arligan Zey has called upon us for a reason. We are to be tasked with finding possible stock piles in the Outer Rim that the Republic can use to our advantage. Unfortuanetly we will have to pass through Seperatist space to get to our initial location. We have all been provided fake identities that should pull us through any security we run in to, which hopefully we shouldn't." Pausing for a breath, Valum looked over to the clone before continuing.

"Now I was informed that one of you has a ship that we will be using for this mission. The Republic has agreed to give us as many supplies as the ship can carry. From there on out we will have to garner supplies on our own. The primary objective of this mission is to find loyal colonies for the republic. I am to let you know we are not the only ones pursuing one of these missions. There are other groups with similar objectives. As you may have also notice our third companion here, this is Sergeant Levince. He will be accompaning us in our mission, but will not be following the same objective per se. High Command has asked we do not interfere with what the Sergeant is doing, so I humbly ask you to follow the Republic's Command Protocol and listen to these orders. We are to depart as soon as we possibly can. If there are any questions you can ask me on the way to the ship. Now if the owner of our new vessel could please stand and lead us there." Standing, Valum bows and stretches an arm towards the door.

Gyro's fingers pecked mercilessly at the computer as he sifted through system after system to bring the cameras back on. He couldn't help but be disturbed by the fact many of them did not work, and the ones that did showed nothing but destruction. Sifting through the working cameras he found the main sector they were in, and only small views of the other 3 sectors. All exterior cameras showed nothing but the blackness of space, and the hangar was empty except for the charred hull of a small transport.
-------------------------------------------------

Hodges was left alone in the corridors with Slade, who wandered towards the Hangar doors. Pushing his ear to the durasteel door he sat and listened for anything on the other side. As he sat there in utter silence, he heard nothing except for his own breath.

--------------------------------------------------

Riggs strode to a computer terminal and started searching security commands for sealing the main part of the base. He could find nothing that would help as emergency doors had already been closed. Searching awhile longer, he managed to find energy shielding for the exterior of the door, as well as a self destruct sequence for the base if it were to fall.

Topic: New Game, anyone interested?
Subject: Faern Foehammer, Khordaldrum Priest(Cleric) of Gamultindar (Kharox)

Faern Foehammer was the third son born to his family. Holding to ancient traditions, Faern was inducted into the clergy as soon as he reached the proper age. Working hard for the clergy, and wanting to bring honour to his family, Faern made his ways through the ranks, eventually falling into ranks of the Runemasters. For many years, Faern worked as a Runemaster to protect the secrets and knowledge of the Khordaldrum race. Devout to his family, race, and god, Faern was honoured when asked to help seek lost Khord artifacts in the Chakran Mountains. The day he left, his middle brother gifted him with a Warhammer fitted with the family seleta (Crest)on the face and adorned with the carving of a grand oak tree on the sides. His mother and father, the last to give their goodbyes, gifted him with a suit of Chainmail and matching, handsewn, vestements of Gamultindar. Vowing to complete his mission, Faern set out with high hopes and a steadfast heart, though he wouldn't admit he was uncomfortable with the thought of being around outsiders for too long.

Well this is the concept for my character, sorry for any inaccuracies as I am new to both 2ed and the Audalis setting so I did some research. Things can be changed if need be to make more sense but this is what I have come up with from my readings. tldr; Khord cleric of Kharox vowed to find and return dwarven artifacts
