Well seeing as we have a Witchy (utility) person, a Tanky (tank) person, and a Tinkery (skilled) person, I'll probably go in to a DPS or Healing role. Not sure yet but I will for sure think of something. I'll PM you tomorrow with a concept!

Subject: I actually have a schedule

If you don't mind me joining, I'd like to help with this game, and Pathfinder has always been a personal favourite of mine. I actually have a schedule that won't be changing until the new school year for Uni students so I can actually stick to something again finally.

Lini took the lead as they entered the second tunnel that actually led somewhere. As Sukini crawled through the tunnel she hoped they would not have to fight like this as she would be at a disadvantage, although probably not as much of one as Gelion. After a few minutes of crawling in the cramped tunnels they came to a stop.

Ahead lied a fork in the path. The tunnel veering off to the right was as dark as the one they had been travelling through. It was the one to the left that caught Sukini's attention. She whispered to Lini as she pointed over his shoulder to the soft glow to the left.

"Did you see that, something is moving in there. Let's attempt to get the drop on it." Retracting her arm, Sukini put her hand to the mining helmet to cover the light source.

(I'll make a stealth check at +18 )

As the last of the creatures fell Sukini walked farther in to the cavern to see if any of the arrows she fired were still in a usable condition. She poked around at the corpses of the creatures when she was close to them but didn't bother to check their persons for anything of worth.

"Well, if our larger members don't mind getting their hands and knees dirty, I could lead us down one of these tunnels, kupo. What does everyone want to do, kupopo?" Looking from across the cavern to the smiling Moogle, Sukini shrugged. "It'd be a safe bet for us to explore these tunnels, and make sure there aren't anymore of these creatures. I'm up for a bit of exercise." She looked next to Gelion to see what he had to say about the matter.

Sukini's arrow flew true, but it didn't penetrate the hide of the creature. No sooner then her arrow connected with the creature ahead of her and Gelion, Nam and Lini took down the other creature to the left in quick succession with their attacks.

As a terrible shriek left the mouth of the creature she just shot, Sukini was actually glad she was wearing the mining helmet as her ears weren't exactly in the open to hear it. The moment the creature closed its mouth two arrows fly from Gelions' bow, one of which hits the creature right in the eye.

With only one creature left and it being nearly on the other side of the cavern, Sukini knocks another arrow. Calling over to her group she says "Take it out before it can escape!" With that she lets another arrow fly as all three mining helmets come back to life.

(Attack #1 with longbow. +4 to attack 1d8 dmg)

A few townsfolk looked to Sirion as he asked his question. A couple of them shrugged and went back their drink. One middle-aged man leaned back in his seat and spoke to Sirion. "Aye, I have an idea of wot they was talkin' bout. I could bet ya five copper they was here to just cause trouble." Hearing this another man spoke up. "Bah, just here to cause trouble. They were most likely here to make sure no ones harbouring any fugitives. There's always unsavoury ilk in our fair city. People who think they can hide from the law. It's places like this that draw em!" With the last sentence he gave a flourish with his hand to the general area around the group.

Near the bar, Zilvra and Xaikon sat and could hear muttered conversations from behind the door. The Dwarf came back out, having seemed to have calmed down and walked up to the two of them. "Anything you two'd like to order this morning?" As he spoke he wrung a cloth between his hands, as if to distract himself.

The ride in to the mine was rather uneventful. The group took the rails they were instructed to until they reached their destination. Adjusting the uncomfortable metal bucket on her head, Sukini fell in step behind Nam, constantly scanning the tunnel. As they entered a larger chamber, the lights they all wore on their heads went out, just as the Foreman had warned. Just as quickly, three bright points of light appeared as Nam lit his sunrods and tossed them in to the room.

Sukini stared at the creatures ahead, and drew her longbow. Whatever this things were, she was not getting close to them until she knew what they were capable of. Knocking an arrow she fired upon the same creature as Gelion.

(Attack #2 with longbow. +4 to hit, 1d8 dmg)

"Echario le'Rouge and I go way back, to before he started the Falcons. I have been a Falcon since long before there were Falcons." Nodding, Sukini turned back to the other two as the dwarf finished answering their questions. She stood silently as the dwarf handed the three of them helmets that their miners wore.

As Gelion asked the dwarf and Nam a couple more questions, Sukini fiddled with the helmet she was given. Try as she might she could not find a way to make it fit comfortably on her head. She sighed as she decided she'd just have to deal with her ears being either bent or squished within the helmet.

"How about you two? Ready to go into the dark and get pelted by stones?" She looked to Gelion, then down to Lini. "Ready as I'll ever be, let's get started." "The faster we do this the faster this damnable thing gets off my head..."

With rising of the sun the next morning came the start of another bustling day in the city. As you make your way to the ground floor of the Inn your greeted by the same dwarf from the night before. The Inn itself was not anywhere near as busy as it was the night before, yet a few tables were filled with workers wanting to eat or drink before the start of another long day.

While the quiet of the morning is pleasant it ends up being broken up within an hour. A group of 4 city guards walk in to the Inn and immediately make their way to the bar. you don't really hear what they say as they talk to the dwarf but you can see he is obviously flustered and having a hard time answering them. After almost 10 minutes of this the guards finally leave. As they do the dwarf starts yelling someone name through the doorway to the back before walking in there himself. Some of the other patrons seem just as perturbed as you are, while the rest continue on eating or drinking as if nothing had happened.

As Echario left the room Sukini looked around to the group of now three. She couldn't help but wonder what caused the Burmecian to leave the way she did. Grabbing her bag from the beside her she got up and made her way out the door after Nam and the others. Stopping at the gates Nam turned to them "I forgot before we left, while we do not impose a standard uniform, you are encouraged to wear this band while on Falcon duties, to identify yourself as a member. The mine is roughly a 30 minute hike up the trail, there we will rendezvous with the foreman and begin our investigation." Nodding to the Varg, Sukini slipped the armband on to her right arm and started hiking up the trail.

The walk was silent and quite uneventful, but that was fine. Sukini spent the time thinking about the strange dream they had last night. It took place in a cavern too, one far underground illuminated by nothing except those strange crystals lodged in the walls. A sense of dread started to creep over her as they came closer to reaching the mine. There was nothing to be afraid of of course, but after dying in a cave only a few hours ago it was uncomfortable.

Upon reaching the foreman's office they were greeted by a dirty dwarf whom appeared to be enjoying an ale. As he explained the problem and how to get to it Sukini looked around the area and took a few deep breaths. It was going to be the last bit of fresh air she'd get before they delved in to the underground. Gelion spoke up right away and shot out a series of questions so fast that she was surprised he wasn't catching his breath at the end. She glanced over to Lini as he added in a final request for a guide in to the caves. Content to let these two speak to the foreman she tapped Nam on the side of the arm. "If you don't mind me asking, how long have you been with the Falcons and known Echario? He seems quite fond of you."

Sukini needs both her hands for the spiked chain as well, also light and stealth don't really mix... She can carry it for a bit if someone else doesn't mind taking it if she has to sneak ahead to scout out a room or something.

Subject: The start of something bigger?

The night goes on, slowly the Inn fills until it's totally packed for the night. The drinks are downed, and the food keeps rolling out of the kitchen. As you sit at your respected seats, and the night wears on, you can't help but start to feel a bit more relaxed in the atmosphere of the Brass Cat.

Eventually the crowd dies down as husbands return to angry and worried housewives, travelers to their rooms, and the guards to their barracks. Eventually it's just you and a few stragglers left in the common room of the Inn. The bartender, a well groomed dwarf with a short black beard, walks over to the dying fire with a bucket. He tosses the water on the embers. As he walks back to the bar he says to everyone still in the common room "Unless you've paid for a room it's time to get going, open again in the morning. Rest of you are welcome to grab one more drink before I pack up."

With these words, a majority of the stragglers drag themselves out of their seats and make their way out of the Brass Cat and the others to the stairs. Looking from behind the bar to the rest of you the bartender asks "Any of you want a last drink? 'Bout time I get going here."

Sukini sat in silence with the others waiting, not being able to see the outside from here it was hard to tell if they were only sitting for a few minutes or a few hours. After waiting so long it was almost startling when the door on the eastern side of the room swung open.

Staring intently at the man walking in, she could feel the confidence, or maybe arrogance, rolling of him in waves. She looked him from boots to head and back again. "Humph, maybe the bar-maids were right... Not to shabby I must say." Leaning back in her chair Sukini kept her ears open to listen to what Le'Rouge had to say.

It seemed like a rather general speech, then again she couldn't expect a fanfare and fireworks for something so small. Le'Rouge did have a way with speaking though, it was easy to see how he was able to convince the leaders of Stone Bridge to let him set his companies base of operations here. Near the end of his speech he introduced a Varg by the name of Nam. "So we have a babysitter for our first little bit eh?" She looked to her companions and gave a small shrug of resignment to that particular bit of information,

Adjusting his silver glasses le'Rouge once again speaks, "Now I'm sure you all have questions before moving on to your first job, so we will now open the floor to you for some quick questions to satisfy your curiosity." Sukini mulled over it for a second before shrugging once more. Any question she may have had was answered in the speech by Le'Rouge. She was content to relax in her seat and wait for the others to ask whatever it was they needed.

As she leaned back in her chair, she opened her eyes as the one next to her was pulled out. Looking up to the young man as he spoke "My names Gelion Greyflood, I hope you don't mind . . . " Gesturing with her hand for him to sit, she closed her eyes once again. After a moment or two of silence Gelion spoke to her again. "Do you know much about the Falcons? All I know is general rumor."

Opening her eyes again she looked over to him. "All I can tell you is the same things you've probably heard before. Not much is known about this company other then the whole truly independent shtick they have going on. And if what the chatter of barmaids say is true, this Echario le'Rouge is quite the looker." Sukini winks to the young man as she chuckles a bit. "The name's Sukini Memro byt the way."

In this time, she hadn't noticed but a Moogle carrying a gun that looked far to big his person had joined them at the table. "I'm Lini. Moogle gunner and the best shot you've never seen until now, kupo. I hope we can all get along." Nodding her head towards him, She leaned back in her chair and tried to relax a bit more. "I wonder if they feel the same way I do right now, this is all to strange." "Nothing comes to mind, they're relatively new, aren't they? That'll change now that they have us though, kupo!"

"Well everyone here seems to be competent in their abilities at the least." As the silence came back to the table Sukini kept her eyes roaming between the doors, waiting for their host to make their appearance,

Bolting up right, Sukini grabbed for her Wakizashi hidden under her pillow. Gasping for breath she looked around the room in a mixture of shock and fear. "Just a dream, it was just a dream. Pull yourself together." Placing her weapon by her side she sits up in her bed and rubs her temples while taking deep breaths. Although it was only a dream, it felt all to real. The pain, the sights, the sounds, the fear... Shaking her head Sukini stands up and walks to the water basin. Staring in to the reflection of herself on the surface of the water she lets out a sigh. "Guess I should get ready for this meeting then."

As she gathered her gear, Sukini tried to piece together what she knew of this new company calling themselves the Crimson Falcons. She knew they were able to boast being the only truly independent Free Company. They were also located in Stone Bridge, a rather neutral town that most likely contributed to them being able to stay independent. Last but not least she knew she recognized the name of their leader. Echario le'Rouge, a famous man with a far more famous ego, the founder of this Company and if the tittering of barmaids was true, quite the looker too. Stopping her train of thought Sukini looked to the door of the Company Hall and made her way inside.

Finding herself led to a large room with naught but a table surrounded with chairs, she opted to take the one at the opposite end of where she expected whomever their speaker would be to sit. Dropping her bag next to the chair she sits down and waits. As the others enter the room Sukini looks each of them over. She can't help but feel a spark of familiarity with them, although she swears she's never seen them in her life before. "First I dream I'm dying, and now I feel like I know people I haven't seen before. Maybe I should stop drinking wine before I sleep." Shaking her head once more, Sukini closes her eyes as she leans back in her chair and start to hum to herself quietly.

((OOC: Just so you guys know what she looks like: Sukini is a 6'4 tall Viera. From the ground up she's wearing Stiletto's common to the Viera, billowing cloth pants, a fitting cloth top with detached sleeves, and a mask similar to a belly dancer's, all a dark purple in colour. Her skin is lightly tanned and her hair/ears are a silvery-white colour. A spiked chain hangs coiled at her hip, a Wakizashi is strapped to her lower back and when the sleeves move you can see Shurikens sheathed within.))
