Topic: These are the Questions of our Lives.
Subject: Chun Li

I went almost ten years without playing, then whooped up on some kids who thought they were good with Chun Li. It's like I am the god of flipping out and kicking people in the face or something.

...Not how I pictured you at all. Well, no... The dark hair I got, but I was thinking of you as being a bit... well less thin, I suppose. Don't know why.

Ever done a power slide and then caught a second and a half of air? How about in a 70-ton tank? I win.

Occasionally, but not often. I saw Rocky. Last movie before that was Clerks 2. Neither of those would indicate to me who you people are talking about.

Topic: Getting to know you
Subject: Avoidance

I don't own a TV, I don't read news sites, and I don't surround myself with people who care about that sort of thing. I mainly use the internet to keep in touch with my friends, all of whom know I don't remotely care about that sort of crap, and don't tell me about it.

I tried that. They get all pissed off when you try to find out how long it takes to learn how to make your arms super long to punch people twenty feet away and blow fireballs...

Jerks.

Now I going to go home and cry about how painful my life is and write crappy poetry about how no one understands me... and listen to the Cure.

Subject: Ummm...

I think you would only hurt your brain trying to cool this thing. Imagine trying to develop a cooling system which would allow you to handle an uncontrolled fusion reactor... That's not up to snuff. Like daVinci's flying machine, I think it's just too far for current technology levels to handle... possibly for any tech level to ever handle.

The theory, however, is sound. It WOULD work, if it wasn't completely impossible.

Angst... Wow... That was mean... I mean, I can be harsh and all, but that was completely uncalled-for. That's one step shy of calling me emo.

You hallucinating yet? It generally starts up in that vicinity - different metabolisms vary, of course...

Subject: Sweet?

I'm not sweet. I am pretty dang smart, though. How smart? Well, no one rightly knows, since I have ADHD too hard to ever actually complete an IQ test. I'm too distracted by the mistakes in the questions. They've never yet made one that didn't run off of faulty assumptions.

I guess what they say is true: An IQ test can only measure up to the IQ of the person who wrote it.

Topic: What would you do with a million pounds?
Subject: Blast!

Now I have to add another one to the list... I'm not a time lord! I may have figured out the workings of a functioning time machine, but our tech isn't up to snuff for poering the thing, much less building the cooling system, which is absolutely critical, believe me.

Trust me, if I had a time machine, things would play out very differently.

One of the guys who works in the shop is an avid SCA light-fighter and another dabbled. I can't say as I've ever sold to a group, but I'd stake life and limb that hefty percentage of the customers play the game.

It's sad how often I have to say this...

"I am not now, nor ever have I been, a time-traveler, cyborg, psychic, super-soldier, reptile, space alien, drow."

Did I leave anything out?

Being cross-eyed makes you see double and lack focus. That would aggravate the Hell out of dyslexia.

Topic: This I know...
Subject: Sweet?

I'm not sweet. I'm mean, vicious, and brutal. I'm a narcissistic, egocentric, megalomaniac suffering from extreme paranoia aggravated by sleep deprivation. I'm prone to bouts of severe depression and sudden fits of rage.

Topic: This I know...
Subject: medication

Yeah.. small issue with that... One of the way my paranoia manifests most strongly is a complete mistrust of the entire medical community. A special combination of bad experiences in my life has pretty well turned me against the whole lot of them. If I take a pill, I was forced and will never trust the person who did it again. Needles? Well, let's just say my entry into the military included the phrase "You're going to need more people than that to hold me down if you want to give me those shots, doc..."

It's not that horrific a problem, though... I can't sleep alone. If there's someone I trust with me, I sleep very well. I'm told that I talk in my sleep on occasion, and by all reports, I hug, cuddle, and give back rubs in my sleep at all times.
