I got the character sheet and have been going through the rule book.. man their is a lot of stuff... all of which I am unfamiliar with right now.

I have the character idea I am going for I just have to look through all the options and things to see if I can put it on paper. The character creation in this game seems more difficult than any other game I have seen before.. all the strange abilities.. life events.. cybernetics... I havent had alot of time lately to work on this so it may be some time before I iron the character out.

YeOlde I too was lost in the rules when I first looked them over as they were quite a bit different then Shadowrun rules.
So I pushed the easy button and had Brom create Croaker .

I gave him the basic concept of a Street Samarai from Shadowrun with all the cybernetics and stuff that I wanted, what stats I wanted better then others and some misc stuff about his gear, weapons and back ground and within 2 weeks I had my Nomad, Richard Talon, Street Name: Croaker.

Thank God for easy buttons

I pressed the even easier button.

I looked through the classes in the rulebook...
I said "fixer sounds cool"....
Brom said "good, the group needs one"...
He asked me a few basic questions (like personality stuff)
and sent me an AWESOME character

Its called Bromern Sal . Its before Tann'Talas and right after Alacrity, on the third shelve in the meat dept.
If you reach Valimar/Vanadia without finding it you have gone to far.

Brom can I play the techie I sent you a while back. If you dont like him or dont have anymore. You may make a new one for me. I would really like to play if you would have me.

I can make a character in under an hour (usually), so if you need me to make the character, I can.

Drakar, I still have Lightning, and with some minor alterations I think the character could be playable. A Techie might come in handy here in the future too.

I've already started work on it, though I'm currently caught up in family activities, so it may not be today.

YeOlde, I've finished your character and sent you an e-mail describing specifics. I've added you as a player, so now all we need to do is figure you into the game. I've sent some ideas along those lines via e-mail as well. Let me know what you think, and if you have any questions.

I looked at the characters on the front page and was wondering about a few things .

First Jack and Piper are listed as Media, I thought he was a Fixer/Minor Mob boss and Piper something other then a media.

Second is Logan still in as Bulls Eye as he is still listed as such.

And last with Suicidolt's last post is the character of Preacher in or out of the game??

I don't see that...

Yes, Logan has expressed an interest in continuing the game and has told me he'll endeavor to be more active. So, I'm giving him another chance at the role.

As far as Preacher is concerned--we have yet to see what Spiff is offering. As a matter-of-fact, Sui, you could take my last post and what was offered up as Spiff's interaction with Scribe, and run with it as though Preacher is in the cab. That would be effectively continuing the storyline there.

Still waiting for posts from Logan, Flirt, and Raven. YeOlde, you'll be able to post once I put your introduction in place.

Yep she was the first, then I, then Sui. If she needs to post you need to email her and let her know as she thinks she is ok for the week. Or if you want tell me and I will let her know.

The character is great! Man that is alot of history! He was just what I had in mind and more! Thanks for making that up for me.

I am sure I will have questions as I get into using the stuff he has but for now most of it seems clear.

I will keep an eye out for the introduction and will hope to have a post shortly after that. I may be a bit slow getting into this genre but I think one I get rolling I will not disappoint you.

You're right, Tann. Peacekeeper has been posted for. I was hoping for posts from Raven, Logan, and for Sui to bring Spiff up to date on the questions asked by Scribe in the cab before tomorrow.

Tomorrow is my wife's birthday so I won't be posting. Saturday I might be able to squeeze something in, but I'm going to be pretty busy throughout the day, and then Sunday I'm off to California for a week.
