Subject: Questions oh question

Yea those questions would've been good to ask,

though being a "good party", I'll try to work in a reward at least for doing the tough thing, I know it would've been much easier for you guys to say

"eh leave em to die" so because you guys helped them out, Some bad things may happen but some good things will definitely happen

Sound fair?

As well, apologies for the late monday post but my school starts today! Second year of uni

EDIT:

Again guys if there's anything you want me to improve on or anything you like and you're like "Yea give us more of that" please lemme know what I can do to improve. I'd like to make the game as enjoyable as possible for all of us

ruins are to the west so they would be fleeing back to town, I believe it took something around 3 days for you guys to get there so if they do manage to escape, they'd need enough survival days to get away and survive. It's a gamble whether or not they templars would find out.

edit:
@nomad: The corpses do not appear to be moving and the elf who was bitten is just standing still, I know you've been mentioning you keeping an eye on that and i just want to say it clearly, nothing bad is happening there.

On the other hand, anyone with magic capabilities or any close sense of nature or what not (It's up to you to decide whether you can sense it/ how you sense it) can magically sense that there's an evil presence in the blackened section of earth on the map.

The lack of trees and the dead soil, the still air, how not a single animal or insect lives there means that it's defiled. Anyone could see that.

Heya, just letting you know that you have an option to do something, You can either chase the elves or do an attack on one of the zombies

Again Crowe and Reynard work in tandem together, with Crowe piercing the zombies heart and holding it at bay (12 points) and then Reynard taking his warhammer and smashing the zombies head in. (8 points) Suddenly the zombie begins to inflate and then it bursts, spewing clouds of noxious gas and acid everywhere around it. Reynards first thought was to protect Crowe and he threw himself in front of him, attempting to block with his shield. (6 pts of dmg), Crowe and Doc Klik managed to duck out of the way and avoid the worst of it (3 points of dmg)

As the Elves witnessed flames hurled through the sky and they saw the terrible figure of Morrigu, cackling and shrieking with anger, the elves immediately started to run, babbling incoherantly as the sight of the wizard terrified them immensely.

Ochit takes a moment to look and has two choices, one, go after the elves, or the other save Doc Klik. It appears one of the foul smelling zombies are going to attack her.

Morrigu launches a firebolt at Z4 (8 points of dmg). The being's flesh seems to sizzle and singe under the intense heat, a green noxious fume appears to escape it's body. Trossach immediately launches an arrow right at the burning zombie and the arrow flies true, embedding itself within it's skull. (4 points of dmg)

Doc Klik, stands against the zombie (Z3), his shields bared. He would protect the elf, no matter the cost, even if it meant revealing his secret. The zombie slammed himself into the Doc, attempting to land a bite into him but Doc Klik was able to keep him away, slamming his shields into the zombie.

The remaining zombie stumbled towards Trossach and Morrigu but it appeared to have trouble climbing the hill.

((Stopping at one round because I don't know what you guys would want to do, the elves are escaping, Keeper, just lemme know what you want Ochit to do, I rolled for him already to attack Z3 but I'm leaving the option up to you. The fights almost over and then we can progress with the story!
Just to make it clear,Z1 and Z4 are down, Z5 is moving towards T and M. The elves (aside from E3) are escaping East ))

Savis growls with displeasure at the sight of the fog cloud obscuring their vision and preventing them from attacking. If he wasn't as injured, he'd just run in there and start stabbing wildly with his rapier but that was a bad idea.

Uttering thanks to Iara quickly, though making a mental note to thank her in earnest once they had the chance, he walked over to Zick, spinning another dream web in his hands. He throws it over the cloud, hoping to tangle everyone in there ((Dream web is 20 foot radius))

Then he asked Zick. "Smoke em out?" gesturing to the web that hopefully covered the entire smoke area.

((Dream Web (Ex)
A dream spider can spin webs just like a monstrous spider of the same size but its webs carry an iridescent hue, making them easy to notice (Spot DC 15). Any animal, humanoid, giant, or monstrous humanoid that comes in contact with these webs experiences strange hallucinations, taking 1 point of Wisdom damage per round of contact. A DC ## Fortitude save negates this damage. If the webs of a dream spider are burned, they create a spread of poisonous gas in a 10-foot radius. This gas deals 1d4 points of Wisdom damage to all creatures in the area (not just to those susceptible to contact with webs as listed above). A DC ## Fortitude save halves this damage. The cloud of colorful vapor remains for only a single round before dissipating harmlessly.

He's asking whether we should just rinse and repeat with this, throwing the web, burning it, the poison gas might draw em out?))

Assuming it's not too big, we could aoe flush them out?

I have a few aoe things to use potentially, stuff like dream web again, burning hands now and stuff like that. Unfortunately, I don't have gusts of wind to blow the cloud away

oh alternatively, maybe i could smell em out and give you a vague impression of where they are? Then we wouldn't be shooting blind (I can't imagine it'd be accurate though, but it's an option)

Omen was loving this, his new rapier was serving him well and he felt like he had gotten some good hits off. Despite his minor wounds he felt great. Though it was rather shortlived as he was soon engulfed in flames, being burned alive.

Omen let out a yelp of pain and surprise as he felt his flesh being burned. Without a second thought, he stepped away from the man and began running without thought, towards the beautiful lady. ((Source of most comfort))

As he neared her, he was suddenly pulled towards her and he was about to lash out when his lips barely touched hers. Stunned and confused, he didn't even realize that he was healed at first, just absolutely dumbfounded at that and he stared mutely at Iara

((The moment he realized he was better, he would blush slightly, then mumble a thank you, then run to the front and throw a dream web in front of everyone to give some cover, he would try to stay at the front but away from trouble or danger))

i'm not too clear with 3.5 e, Is there attacks of opportunities if I leave? And am I able to disengage?

If anything, I'd probably spray em with some sleep stuff then bail if I could. If that's not possible, disengage and get the eff out of there

Crowe and Reynard, both realizing the dangers of the sprinter, eagerly rushed at it, realizing that the only sprinter left was near the elf. (S2). The both of them attacked, Crowe piercing it's side with his rapier while Reynard landed a deadly blow with his warhammer. The sprinter let out an angry snarl, barely alive. Yet it still lunged out, not at either Crowe or Reynard but the helpless elf on the floor, biting into his shoulder viciously. As it pulled, chewing, it seemed like he got some strength back.

The elves launched their arrows at the enemies, some finding it's mark, others missing. The zombies appeared to be unaffected by it on the whole.

Doc Klik was eyeing the tide of zombies, rushing towards the fallen elf and a surge of panic rolled over him as he saw him take a deadly wound. Rushing with his extra arms, he quickly took out the medicine kit, procured a salve and then bandaged his wounds best as he could. The elf seemed to relax, still wounded but not in immediate danger. At least not from his wounds.

Morrigu stood atop the mountain, twitching slightly though none was able to see it. Suddenly, a terrible shriek was heard, one that made the zombies stop and pause for a second. Then bolts of fire were released, arcing their way towards the zombies. It smote one of the zombies in it's side, burning the flesh away.

For Trossach, suddenly the shot grew much harder as the zombie was swarmed by his allies. The threat of hitting one of them grew but concentrating, he took a deep breath, then let loose the arrow. Arcing high above them, it barely hit the zombie, landing in it's shoulder and it narrowly missed Doc. The zombie growled, angry, it's arm appeared to not work as it swung uselessly around it's torso.

The zombies relentlessly pursued, moving only slightly faster at the scent of it's prey. As the three of them (Doc, Reynard, Crowe) were attacking the sprinter, the zombies shuffled ever closer.

((It's hard to narrate but in combat everything is supposed to happen at the same time, so forgive me if it sounds like your character is doing nothing, it's just initiative order, I'll be posting initiative order in the Q&A, Btw Ochit is moving there right now, he'll be there second round))

((Second Round))

Crowe quickly finished off the sprinter, stabbing it through it's head, then moving forward, defending the attack from the west, Reynard moved forward beside Doc Klik, lashing out with his warhammer. The warhammer struck the zombies head, the crack of bone resounded and the zombie stopped in it's tracks. The elves retreated further away, stopping only when far away enough and shooting more arrows.

Suddenly, Ochit, who had been sprinting the entire time let loose a savage battle cry, slashing the stunned zombie and taking off his head. He panted, being extremely tired from sprinting the entire way here but he had gotten to the fight. He didn't get to accomplish exactly what he wanted but he was here.

Doc was hit with a wave of pure disgust as the first zombie (Z1) smelled awful and he had to fight to prevent getting sick. He shook the feeling off and quickly covered his other arms with his shields, then clicked in Thri-Kreen, uttering a prayer to his God and beseeching him to turn the undead. As he spoke, the foul smelling zombie began to flee, running away.

Morrigu and Trossach, launched arrows at the zombies heading towards them. The zombie remaining, slashed out towards Doc Klik, it's arms beating against one of his shields.

((Okay that felt really long, Just want to point out that Morrigu used her magic and I didn't include your reactions into that but it should come as a surprise))

I'm not the best with deadlines

It takes me much longer to do DM rather than just be a player. Have no worries though, I won't disappear randomly but i'll show up a few days late if I don't post right away.

My G2 test is next week and I've been practicing for that as well as hanging with friends before going to university. Post will be up within the hour or this night at latest

Savis, feeling quite proud of himself for having inflicted some wounds with his new rapier let a savage grin touch his features. This.. The thrill of battle was exhilarating, just letting loose to your carnal desire to kill, to maim to rip. He wasn't Savis right now. But omen.

Suddenly a booming voice interrupted his thoughts and he whipped his head to the new trio. Fresh blood. . Savis shook his head, reining in his bloodlust momentarily and thought of his new companions. Running forward, he got close enough to them, then let loose a cone of steam, attempting to hit the three of them. (or as many as possible).

His plan was to let loose steam, then throw web on top of them, then start stabbing with his rapier, whoever looks the lowest, trying to stay in between the enemies and his new allies.

((OOC: His visage ordinarily would be one of curiousity, happy and go lucky. When he's fighting, he's feral, his eyes are beast like and he snarls and growls like a beast. The beast version of him is called omen.))

@ nomad, savis will try to get out of the way so that you're able to throw the bombs. He has an ability to put people to sleep so i think he'll try to do that, then run away, throwing another web on top of all of them, then try to defend you guys.

@shield, if i don't post a full fledged thing, just use what I have above. If update day is on monday i'll be able to for sure though.

@nomad at this distance, your character is having some trouble being able to see them right now. However when they were there earlier, you saw the states of their armor.

The sprinters and the elves were wearing the same type of armour, so yes, you can assume that.

@kaelyn alright I'm thinking we can do 2 rounds at a time, if that goes well, i can switch it to 3 like shield does in his game.

@ keeper, does this mean you would have left while they were fighting?

Doc has 40 ft movement speed so you can def get there. Each square is 5 feet. I don't know if I mentioned that earlier.

The elf is currently very badly injured, I rolled a medicine check and you succeeded.

The elf probably has a round left, as the zombie critically injured him when he went down. (2 failed death saving throws)

I'm thinking I can do it like shield, maybe you can declare actions for either 2 or 3 rounds at a time. I'm not sure what you guys would like.

That way combat can go faster.

As of right now, the sprinter was eliminated. I didn't roll dmg yet for you guys but you managed to kill him. ((So sad, he was supposed to last longer))

So S1 is down. If you need any clarifications, I won't be busy this weekend so i'll be able to respond relatively quick
