Subject: Done!
The magic still reels within your head, knowledge that did not belong to you swirls within your mind. ((The level up is still there in other words)). Using the knowledge from the vision, you realize that this was once a great stronghold and it has sunk deep into the earth. Now you're standing on what once was a tower overlooking the land but now it barely sticks out of the dusty sand.
Through Doc Klik's divine magic, he was able to restore these weapons to their true form, their true power. The armory totals a 2 greataxes, 3 swords, 3 javelins and countless arrows, and even crossbows.
(It takes a minute to cast but it's a cantrip and you can use it as often as you'd like Kaelynn)
The threat of the zombies remain but they shuffle outside aimlessly, moving in your general direction but not immediately a threat.
The question remains, do you want to make a stand here, or do you descend deeper into the dark?

Just looking over the posts and it seems like some of you guys want to go down and some haven't said anything about either?
I'm gonna post an update of your arsenal for now .
It's 5th edition. Level 3 is really good for most classes as you can pick a pathway. I believe fighters will have the choice of which path they want to emulate.
There's eldritch knight, battlemaster or champion.

Hey all,
I'm going to be very very inactive until about the 17th. I really want to get some posts up but as of my current workload, I've got about 30 percent of my mark for each of my courses riding on exams within the next week which has been my main focus.

Concerning weapons, it seems like this was an armory. Mainly ranged weapons, arrows, javelins, spears and the like. A few greataxes and swords but mainly ranged weapons.

and yea, i wanted to ask a question for you guys.
Generally what did you want to happen? Get as much info as you can then try to find each other or something like that? I'm thinking of another way to bring you together but that would require about a day timeskip.
I'm also thinking about certain merits to give to you guys, I've decided on a safehouse for nomad, contacts amongst vagrants and runaways for Eol, Hammer is prolly going to have some version of faith and Broms character, I haven't gotten to the combat part but I"m thinking you'll have mentor/ally I forget the term. I'll get back to you guys but just lemme know what you're gonna do for the next day after if you leave and I'll have something happen

Door is shut but it's pretty flimsy.
Answers:
1.The elf didn't see it, you guys walked for about i think 2ish more hours? Something along the likes of that.
2. Rolled a quick survival check for you guys, (Nat 20!)
Listening outside, you get the feeling that there's about 20 give or take. You don't know how strong they are or if they explode though so that's something to keep in mind.

Norman buys whatever drink you want and a strong liquor for himself. His eyes are wild and you can tell hes just happy someone wants to listen to him. His voice lowers to a whisper, so that you have to lean in to listen to him.
"What do you want to know? I think hes the devil, come here to take our souls. Giving us lies and temptation so that we give in to our vices, otherwise righteous men damn themselves with drink, drugs and woman. I don't know what they want with us, maybe to drag us to hell but they're here. Trying to take us, trying to steal us from God."
He stops for a moment and looks at you warily. "You believe me right?"

Haze was there, trembling, as memories from his past surged up and threatened to overtake him. He held a piece of rebar, something that could be used to seriously hurt someone, tightly to his chest like a security blanket. No one else was around to witness that and (I assume) Haze was grateful for that.

On the rooftop patio of the owl

Pastor Preston, the Harvey lookalike, got to his feet, walking in front with Pastor Jeremy and he spoke to the crowd much like how he preaches. His voice emphatic, his hands gesturing as he speaks to them:
"My Good Friends! What if what Norman says is True? I suggest we consider All Possibilities! Plus it would be beneficial to spend some time Fasting and Praying about these unsettling situations! I will suggest that the members of my congregation at the Loaves & Fishes Tabernacle in Mt Pleasant begin a Prayer Chain and spend the next few days Fasting and Praying as they are led of the Lord. What about your congregation Pastor Jeremy?"
It is plain to see that most people are uncomfortable at the idea of this man being true. But regardless, people are nodding and there's a general consensus. "Perhaps we should consider all the possibilities.".
As Preston offers a prayer chain to Pastor Jeremy, he blinks a bit confused and then smiles, offering his hand to Preston in a sign of camaraderie.
((Assuming he shakes his hand))
"I didn't realize you were here Pastor Preston. We would love to organize something between our two organizations as a sign of faith in these trying times. More information will be dealt out at the church! For now, let's try to address some of those concerns.". Another smile to Preston as he looks to the crowd for any suggestions
Someone raises their hand, a woman with black hair and a cross on her neck. She looks extremely nervous and flustered as she says "Well.. The man in white could be a dealer.. I have seen him. Just. Well. Obviously not without the horns!". She chuckles nervously.

Alexander was sitting unobtrusively as he watched the events that happened around him. Since the new pastor seemed to convince the crowd that they should keep all the possibilities open, Alexander can see that there are others that are talking about this so called stranger in white.
The high schoolers seem to be talking among themselves quietly, at the mention of the possibility of the man in white. Going towards them, he asks them about the valedictorian

"Melissa? She was really nice. She wasn't really valedictorian, not yet at least but, she was boudn to be. Everyone thought she was sweet and loved her. But.. I mean. Well". Their voices lower as the two of them tell you
"We saw him. The man in white. He shook hands with melissa and we were confused y'know but. He was somebody's parent or something and she was so friendly. She must've been given drugs or something. About a month later, her grades dropped, she was acting weird. Then she was about to fail a huuuge project and left. Then the next day,". One of them shakes their head, biting their lip and closing their eyes. The other girl finishes. "She came and shot the teacher and 3 students. Then herself.".

"Seems like all we gotta do is wait.". He says, his voice even. He would step outta the rain as best as possible and pull out his gun, checking that it's in top shape for whatever he had to do.
Looking at it a bit warily, once he was finished he would tuck it back into the holster and wait around with the group, looking anxiously towards where Ghlahn is.

It was a long journey. Though Damian was glad that it was long.
Much better to be long and safe rather than to have whatever happened to him befall the rest of us.
As he approached the archway, the sight of it a welcome and familar sight, he heard someone call out to them:
Who goes there?
Damian waited a moment, feeling slight trepidation coming back home. He was heavily scarred. He'd heard stories of the Feral before, sporting their scars around like badges of honour. He hoped no one would treat him differently. He waited a moment; letting his companions speak before he called back: (including the priests and assuming no one else did, if someone speaks, he'd just be silent)
"It's Damian! I come bringing priests!". His face grimaced slightly at the barrels of water that they had. That were lost. He suppressed a sigh, hoping the clerics would be able to save his family.

No worries, i understand rl takes priority.
I feel awful that I don't update games that I GM every week
I'm still working on an update for the hunter campaign.
I'll keep your char as an NPC and even if you can onyl join for a month or a week before you need to take a break, that is a-okay with me! You're always welcome to take control of your character, no matter how short the time period is
will answer questions later as well

Subject: Midterms are done
The group runs to the tower, the cold starting to seep in as the sun's rays begin to leave. Fortunately, the wind is still and no ash flies into you, just tiny puffs raise as you set your feet down.
Your pace is quick as you begin to hear shuffling coming from the distance, from those that are the walking dead.
(I rolled a quick CON check, i rolled really badly but thanks to mods, half of you succeeded)
At this point, you make a quick dash to the tower, a lone structure about a story high, the walls are made of stone, there are some spikes jutting out of the ground and there are no windows. It's approximately 20 by 20 square feet.
Rushing inside, you get there just as the sun sets (those without darkvision might have issues seeing). The moment everyone steps foot inside, memories that do not belong to you get thrust into your mind. It's similar to speaking to a thri-kreen, their telepathic voice inside your voice. ((OOC: Any generic memory you want, relating to your class. This is also an opportunity to multiclass into anything you want, including spell casting.))
However the strongest memory is of an elvish woman, presumably a high elf as it's different from the normal elves you see. You get the distinct feeling of fear from this woman but also a feeling of hope. You recall locking her inside of a room and then leaving, suits of armor saluting you as you pass. Then the memory fades.
Even though it felt much longer, the "memory" only took a few seconds. The doorway is still open, the structure seemed to be a soldiers barracks of some kind. Weapons were laid strewn across the floor in a haphazard manner. A layer of ash coats the floor. Upon closer inspection, the weapons appear to be made of metal. Rusted heavily but still made of metal. As you explore more of the room, there appears to be a staircase heading down, deeper into the sand.
The sound of zombies shuffling resounds from the outside. A quick survival check determines that they won't be rushing in here but they should get there in a few minutes.
