DM..

I make it a habit 'not' to read storylines not pertaining to my character, to keep knowledge and metagaming to an absolute minimum... but After reading Almerin's comment above I took the liberty of reading the last post... and even without any other details, as a stand alone post... Bravo!
The poem certainly summed up anything I had missed, and the emotion behind the words seemed to leap from the page. Well done

~A new fan.

A Humble Thanks

And Pride.

I wrote that poem last week on Saturday awaiting the end of the scenario, I only added the bit about Gharion as this week's post revealed that he had died. It is easy to create literate responses from the the quality of posts from Almerin. I was crying over Gharion the whole time I wrote the the narrative. Hence the bit about the tears on the page of the poem

well

important things are going on... if only Vesper was here to post... I honestly don't know what to expect: having to post in his stead? Wait for a response? Is he gone yet, or not?

anyway, we will wait at the tower for this week. I want to able to take you beyond it in my next update. Therefore: Finish whatever business you have in there: find clues that have been dropped, if they were too vague, I will try to find the time to post a little something to point you in the right direction.

You can find a description of the tower one the top of this page

Questions

I want to be able to get Elessare on the road so I am adding a secondary post, but there are questions that I need answered so I can write it properly without stepping on your toes.

1. She asks for a horse, will she get one? Same with an extra set of clothes.

2. She asks for courier ready to ride out the morning of the 6th. Also Do the towers have another way to sending important messages other than by courier?

3. she asks that the tower personnel assemble on the morning she will take off. Will it happen, it does not matter if is is just a small group or large, I just need to know about who of importance and how many.

4. If I remember right the village was not on the main road to her next destination, Yes? No?

5. How many days ride is it to the next place to rest safely.

Gads I hope it takes them a few days to cxheck out stuff, or I will never catch up with them. How manys days ride are they away from me.

answers

actually, there is no need to rush, there is still plenty of time to catch up with the group.

but answers to your questions:

1: She will get a horse, and once she mounts it, Comrade will highly disagree with its presence.

2: Instead of a courier, they will send a falcon to go where ever you want it to fly.

3: As the tower is now in your debt, most of its inhabitants will come if you gather them. Only the highest officials will remain at their own posts. One of them comes down, and gives you a vial of oil. They have mimicked your trick with the two waters, and gathered a minimal amount of Lotus concentrate. Should you encounter more of the sick trees, you can use it on that.
They also let you know that the sages of the Exaulted tower are locating other trees such as the one you healed. But they haven't heard from them in a few days.

4: the Sylvari village was not on the way to your destination, it was to the east and close to the chakran mountains, where you need to travel north.

5: The next safe town on your way north would probably be Hith Elee, in the Alloryen Kingdom. It will cost you two days of long riding to get there.

More Questions

How disagreeable to the new horse. As if it is usuping his place or that there may be something wrong with it.

Well I will let you handle that part.

Is there a cleric there high enough to recharge my wand. I have a feeling I am going to need it fully charged.

well

not accepting the fact that another horse is taking Gharion's place, or perhaps not approving of not being your steed himself, or just generally pissed off with puberty? either of those, for he cannot talk...
There is nothing wrong with the horse they give you.

No clerics in the Flower Castle of high enough level to charge your wand... besides, I don't think there is such a thing as wand-recharging. Isn't that impossible according to DMG? :-/

wands

Wand recharging is a House Rule...

I mean it's easy to divide cost by charges to find a per charge cost...cheaper than buying an entire new wand.

well

I guess I would allow it. After all, it does make sense. There is nobody in the Flame Keep who can do that kind of thing though. So you're going to have to hang in there for a little while.

proper timing

Good timing Vesper! I had a post ready for tomorrow in which Alyssia replied to Draven, but luckily you took on that job

I would probably have a hard time staying neutral and act unknowing.

updates

updates are in, guys.

Please let me know if there is anything that you would like to investigate more, or take a closer look at, or if you want to search a particular area of the tower.
