Whew that took a while to write. I think I might have gotten a bit carried away. If things go badly I'm blaming the smirk Grace gave; it made Catie think that Grace wants to play a game.

I think the reaction is just great r. This is how crew develop and grow so I am enjoying this immensely.

While to the point, Stephanie's manner of persuasion isn't Catie's preference. I think she'll probably try to defuse the situation, perhaps using an info-dump as a distraction (and yes, she used that tactic on Grace too as the very first thing she said)

And then Jon will be involved in the just about on-the-job interview for the position that Catie will be taking up which he is probably unprepared for...

And, please don't take this the wrong way...but Jon has concerns about the job, Angela expressed concerns about the job as did Tess, but what do we do? JC goes to his bunk and Jon goes to have a workout?

I am sorry if I gave you that impression. Angela's Advanced Metabolism Asset/Complication makes for an interesting role playing element. No doubt it is obvious how she is consistantly hungry compared to the rest of the crew's eating habits. I would imagine Tess got in the habit of offering Angela food whenever there seemed to be a lull.

Angela didn’t get her wish…not right away. There was one too many people waiting at the ship, and from the way Stephanie spoke to the Captain, that person was joining the crew. Angela kept very quiet, ignoring her pounding head, and hoped people would forget she was there. Otherwise, they may decide the ship was too crowded and pack her away…..

certainly gave the impression that Angela didn't want to deal with all of this any more. I would imagine that the pounding headache and submissive posturing would be indicative to the crew how Angela was feeling. Tess recommended that she go lay down, but I purposefully didn't mention her again because I had no idea if Angela would go to her room or come with us to the galley.

If you would like Angela to have more one on one interaction with Tess, I am happy to do a collaberation via pms. When I rejoined Destiny, I was under the impression that Angela was more drawn to JC and Grace. Please let me know if I misunderstood.

Yes, that does seem to be one of the issues we are dealing with doesn't it. We need to RP this out. Jon has just seta tone to get the crew and the boat back in order. He hasn't had time to think the events through and is about to put some thought to it. He has also tossed it out Tess earlier so he can get her thinking and to JC so he can protect their back. Catie is an unknown and Angela is a ball of surprises. Although Angela has been a positive factor in recent events Jon is still not sure just what to do with her. He has to go over his own list of what he knows about her. And now Stephanie has sent him on a manipulative guilt trip.

So first we get back to a routine and then we address the "what if's". We have over five hours before the pickup so a lot can still happen.

Catie's not unknown. She's been very forward with information. Like her past jobs. That's a long list there...

Okay, yeah, that doesn't really give a lot of information about her, just what she can do. I will just have to concede the point that she's an unknown.

Very interesting chain of events though. We'll need to see how this all works out.
