New Player

Alright everybody, we've got a new player in our midst. Give a warm welcome to Blammm.
He will play the likable (hopefully ) rogue Tobin Tumblebelly.

Although the game has been going for some time we shall say that he has been with the main party from the start. Therefore he's in the battle scene with Troshba and ready to aid you all!

.

I hope you all understand my decision in attacking the creature, I couldnt just let an innocent creature be used as fair between a mountain pass, especially when it was going to be eaten by a magical, unnatural creature

haha..

I forgive you, but the fun fact is this: you're fighting a magical beast, and you know what's also a magical beast?
Yep, that's right: a unicorn. Would you slay a unicorn if it asked a sacrifice for passing?

posts

I still require 3 posts before I can update. In the case of no post or word from Drakar, Valimar and Jozan tomorrow, I will update later. But I am aiming for this weekend, since this is when I have time.

Crappy, Crappy Post

However, seeing as I did it in under 5 minutes before work, (pats on the back).

I used Giant Wasp Poison, as you can see in my CS.

DC?

what's the DC for your poison? If you hit then Troshba needs to make a fort Save.

Poison DC

Giant Wasp Poison has a DC 14 Fort Save. (So says Crystal Keep...) Does 1d6 DEX damage both initial and secondary.

hmmmm

Turns out I didn't need the DC yet.... Draven missed. That also means: There is an update waiting for the party. Another round of combat is over, and a new one is waiting for actions. I want to ask all of you to post before Saturday. I know I'm not giving you all a lot of time. If you don't have time to post, just let me know what your character intends. But know that I will reward extra XP for those of you who have a post in before the weekend (also for non-party members).

Brings me to another point: Experience. I update XP after each encounter. So keep track of the XP table in the first post of this Q/A!

AC 19

I thought you had AC 19 now with the barkskin spell. Seeing how you normally have 17, and the spell gives a +2 natural bonus. Well, in any case, I'm sorry... 19 or 20 really doesn't matter, for Troshba's critical went over both.

As for your action: I'm going to give you an answer already. You can only drink the potion, seeing how you have to retrieve it and don't have quickdraw. Taking the bottle counts as a move action, so you can't do more besides taking a five foot step. But you're in good cover behind Gunar now, so nevermind the moving part.

barkskin

It's 1 extra for every third level above 3rd level caster, to a max of +5 at 12th level.

btw, thanks for the quick post.
