Or is Templeton the bigger threat. Even though he is scum, he is connected scum. In order to get away with selling both sides defective weapons there had to be a bunch of powerful folks profiting from it, on both sides. Now that the war is over they could be exposed so it seems that Steele would become the scape goat unless he has really good blackmail on them.

If Templeton can be brought down so that the Baron gets his platinum without having to marry off Lillianna because of us then he will treat Badger well and in turn Badger will treat us well, in the future that is.

Baron is a very rich man who give his own daughter away just for some land rights. I doubt he would lose any sleep over killing us to keep us quiet or to simply not have to pay us. His plan to potential kill us all might explain why we are getting paid after we deliver Lilanna, he doesn't want to give us any money.

The only problem with Baron getting the land is that Asante wants that lamd too. If we don't give her the land, she won't help or worse, sell us out for the land.

You have not truly dealt with the Baron or Templeton so you do not really know. Templeton made his money off the war by playing both sides, using stats to make the casualties look smaller and making the defects look like an advantage because the other side was getting it worse. He made close allies in the alliance which is why he is still selling guns

The Baron has a rep for being ruthless at business and not a man to cross. However you only have Lilianna's word against Seth. Maybe JC can recount what Seth said in the exercise room.

No doubt you are in a tough situation. My advice, decide who you trust and let the chips fall where they may.

Angela's not the long range planning type (hehe) but she'll react to some of what is said. I do have to ask, though...was Catie meant to ask the same questions twice? Or should we consider that you didn't really ask the Simon/Winchesters the first time because you didn't get an answer?
