And I goofed a bit in my post - I thought Jon had told JC to get Angela to her room, so wrote it as if only JC was holding her. Ody compensated well for my error (two person carry) so I'll leave it as is.

JC was going to search the ship but Jon ordered him to grab Angela and help him get her to his room. I would assume JC would do as the Captain ordered and wait until the situation cooled before leaving.

I read Van's post that two were carrying Angela. So it was just how I saw it. I had intended for Jon and JC to risk moving Angela so she would not awaken in front of the passengers.

I had hoped to update DF this week but christmas stuff sorta grabbed my time and ran away with it. Will post this weekend getting you to the cruise liner. After that it is Fifth Element meets The Sting.

Was writing in that Angela recognized Grace a co write with Van and ok'd with Al. It is very significant to the story development to have Angela regaining memory, even just flash backs. I was going to respond to by having Jon catch that she said Grace's name but thought I'd better clerify first.

yes Angela remembered Grace and spoke her name. I approved that interaction.

Asente knew our last general plan so she can cause issues, actually any way we go she will be able to mess with it.

Lilianna could send a wave to tell both Steele and her step dad that Asente wanted to take to mining rights. That could add suspitions toward each other. One of the two is most likely in on it with Asente. It could be played to have been a way for Steele to get Lilly and keep the rights.

Also a way for Optimus to get the rights no matter what happened.

Once we realize that Assante was planning to disable the ship, we need to recognize that they were planning to try to board us. I have a funny feeling that Grace was supposed to find the device she did, so I'm glad she is going to make us look for the hidden ones that would really hurt us.

Our best bet is a fast burn to the cruise ship that will out-run the kidnappers. We contact Baron and let him know that the kidnapper was identified and neutralized (providing the name of course) so to foil any of Assante's play at the ship. We also let him know that we're aware he has a package for us to take back with us, so our leaving the ship at least long enough to pick up the boyfiend-in-a-box is allowed.

Keep in mind that you have a fast ship. Your cruise speed is the hard burn of most mid-bulk transports. So unless Asante has a Arrowhead Courier ship, not much can match you and most people do not know that.

I will write my post on the basis that all the crew will be helping out with the search for surprises. More eyes, the better.
