Split the party

Splitting the party is always a good idea.

I do think the three cool kids should stay pretty close together.  Overall the plan works for Alex.  He is curious.

I am usually against splitting the party on principle but in this case, time is of the essence and I figured Wyatt would think this is the best way to address the issue of life support and power while seeing what's what.

besides

The ship id dead except for a very small power signature. Spliting the prty is not a good idea in D&D but even in the Firefly series when they found a ship floating in the black, Mal split the party to get what was needed done.

I like your pep talks.

I like the post, Ody, but I think we're hatch to hatch so there wouldn't be any moving across the hull.

ok, well Roger can clarify. If it was going to be hatch to hatch then I think Pops would suggest backing off in case of a bomb on the hatch. It is all fixable in edit mode...lol

BTW..I will be on vacation in Myrtle Beach next week, but I will have my laptop and stay up with the action.

working assumption

I do not want to get bogged down in tech discussions here. I am working on the assumption that the shuttle can make a seal using some sore of inflatable polymer and magnetic clamps. You will have to go through the shutlle hatch and the ship hatch but as you zeroed out the pressure, you can leave it open. You will habve no power to open the Demter hatch, but can use the shuttle power to get the door open or use the manual override.

Edit Done...

Ok so made some changes to account for being attached to the Demeter hatch.

When everyone is in we'll follow Wyatt's directive to head off to the engine room, but need to have that written in game so we can write about it.

I am also under the gun at work and will be leaving for Germany on Saturday. I'll attempt to keep posts coming during this time, but I wanted to make sure you all had a head's up.
