Subject: Isilmiri

Isilmiri stood quietly as the strange Syl replied to their questions, not exactly replied rather he spoke of what he would not do. he was neutral his words confirmed that much to her mind. And so he would not interfere with what was going on. Not directly anyway however, regardless of what he told the he presence here hinted at an intervention of some degree. At least that was her thought.

Isilmiri would have liked to have spoken to both Ocyari and Tamuril together apart from the man's ability to over hear them.

For the moment, Isimiri put her intellect to work on what the Aquatic Syl was not saying and what he intimated abut that cryptic. "You want knowledge as old as the sea itself? There is a place where you can find some answers, and YOU should know where to find it.”

One thing, no two things were clear. Despite of his stated neutrality, he has intervened in a small way. He was here and he told them they could find the knowledge they needed. at some place.

Isilmiri's mind flashed to the Abbot of the Monastery where Brother Perrin had come from.

"I thank you for that much information. We will do what we can. I am neural when it comes to the concepts of Law and Chaos but not when it comes to Good and Evil. Good is always uperior to the alternative." Isilmiri replies gravely That was her position; his was different. So be it. Her actions were dictated by her own beliefs not his never his.

Your presence here and the clues you left us with do not exactly fit with your stated neutrality." She gives the Syl an assessing look, but does not ask why he had done what he had done.

The way things stand thus far from game play, Bronwyn will be making scrolls and potions. As to what Scrolls of fireball, color spray, I will get a list to you as soon as I can figure out what I can make.

Well that wouldn't be in character. She does not feel she is part of "your" group. And that is now how it stands. Without Elendil about she has had only your group and Lord Bart and interactions with keep staff and retainers and so far that has not been enough to make her think she could be part of your group.

It is just the way things worked out when we first met up and the tension between Elendil and the others and she was with Elendil. Perhaps once we get back into play she will have a chance to come to know you and what you do. Adventurers are unknown creatures, and Adventuring not a part of her world--as of yet.

How long until Elendil gets back?

Shucks, I am getting left out again. How can I ever get joined up with the other if they all go off?

Though Xaris will be there busy training troops, he who is the Abominable Snow Gnome who hardly seems real.

Subject: Isilmiri

Isilmiri hadn’t spoken yet because she was trying t figure out who and what this Syl was. She didn’t think he was a spirit he was strange but much too corporal. She believed that he was some sort of kin to the Sylvari, but was of a type she had no knowledge of.

She heard Brother Perrin’s request for water but she was eager to learn something much different. He might know what plagued the small fishing village.

After Brother Perini finishes she nods politely too the Druid of the Sea, “Greetings Druid. Your life path is known to me but the kind of Syl you are not Syl you seem to be but of a kind unknown to me. I am sure Brother Perrin’s need for water is sincerely but I have another question I believe is of more import and could well help others who face a problem that is beyond their ability to mitigate.

“May I continue?” she pauses for a moment and waits to see if he will hear more. “There is a small fishing village we have just left that has been plagued for generations of their kind with something that comes from the sea, We offered them help but they fear any outside intervention that might make what they faced worse than before. For all of us I wish to know what it is that assails them once a month, as I understand “ The group of us want to help them, and I think we can but neither do we want to make it worse for them. If we had some knowledge of what it was and how they can be confronted and driven off, we would appreciate that more than anything else. Also something has changed recently in that one of the villagers was attacked and drained almost unto death. They said that had not happened before.

Personally, I wish to know why you are here in this place and with the offer you have made to help us?” Isilmiri would like to trust what she saw but she wasn’t foolish enough to everything at face value. I hope you do not consider my question as impertinence.

“Could you wait until our friend joins us? Isilmiri does turn after that and calls Ocyari over to join them.

“Ocyari, please come and join us.”

Bronwyn's life quickly fell into a routine in the following days. Once she got a place to set up her lab she spent most of her time making scrolls potions, and other small useful items that could be of useful and not too expensive. She was mostly prompt getting to breakfast, lunch and dinner because that was only polite.

Very day Bronwyn walked out to Buttercup’s grave usually early in the morning before breakfast though sometimes it was in the evening. She spent the rest of her time divided into studying magic and perfecting her craft as well and making spells potions and other small items that were not too expensive and therefore more affordable. When studying she was frequently outdoors if the weather was good and the sun bright. She had a smile for everyone.

At breakfast the next day Bronwyn has a good morning for wall those gathered at the table for the morning meal. She mostly wears divided skirts and a tunic top and a long vest with many pockets.

“Good morning, it looks like it is going to be a nice day today. I was wondering if any of you use scrolls or potions and if so which ones benefit you the most.

Elendil is planing to return. She is off taking care of some loose ends that were initiated as part of her background.

As for Bronwyn, I hope she will be able to join the adventures as they move out and about but she will have to understand what adventuring is all about She knowledge is that of a court or town wizard and not an adventuring wizard. She just has no concept of such a critter.

As Bronwyne player of Bronwyn's Player, I certInly want her to get involved with adventuring

Right now Bronwyn is working on making scrolls, potions and other such things for sale spending the money she got on the needed components using the money she got from the loots that the group gave her. Of course she is saving enough saving only enough for living expenses for 6 months just in case. She can be frugal about those.

Somebody talk to Bronwyn at lunch or dinner which she soes show up for if not she is off practicing her craft except for an evening or morning stroll out to Buttercup's grave site if you are about perhaps we can get some things sorted out.

Yes, agreed. It took us forever to join up with the rest of you all. I had hoped earlier that that would have been facilitated, but it wasn't. Six isn’t too large a group ro work together, we have enough diversity of classes that we fill in most the gaps and have some back up in a few.

Bronwyn still hasn’t been able to really meet up with your group except at the dinners and when she waves a greeting. or smile politely when she sees one or the other of the main group. She is trying especially now that Elendil has gone for a while. She feels sort of out of the loop, so to speak. When the game once gets back rolling, I hope to be able to extend that overture of friendship.

Trillion helped Selunine up after she was thrown physically from where she had been. She helped her to the other bed and got

"Do you need healing?" ahw skes concerned for the young woman and then hands her a cup of water. She gave Selunine some time to recover her aplomb, and waited for her to respond.

She did bind the woman on the bed later was surprise later when she turned into the innkeeper, The Innkeeper own denial of what happened to effect this change was unknown to that person. Trillion believe that was possible but not necessarily the truth of the situation. That the innkeeper was the perpetrator was not very likely. Now was this a clever mage thief who had cravd the things taken which were all magical in nature and use, or was.

Trillion stood and walked to the window to gaze out in though the window even a she looked about.

If Selunine explained to Trillion about the mind that threw her out

"Selunine, I am trying to figure out why this ruse of using the innkeeper disguise to steal some very particular items allmost magical except for my mask and comb that are simple valuable. The question though is who or what did this and for what reason. I do not think monetary gain was this incident's sole purpose.

Do we Sylvari have any knowledge of an aquatic Syl race?

She know from observation and his attire that heis from no land based nation. She included the fact that she was sitting in the shade.

Isilmiri dismounted and leads her horse forward.

"I will join you, Brother Perrin." Her first thought was that she should be there just in case backup were needed. Though she also knew that she would be less threatening to a man who was sitting down in the shade of the well. However, she was also watchful of their surrounding and any false movements the man might make. Her own tendency to accept others at face value had been lessened by a few sharp lessons during her early years of her adventuring.

One could hope that matters seemed and were innocent of danger, but one would be foolish not to be prepared.

However her appreciative response soon faded as she looked about for the still missing Flame. He was now among the missing. She had so many that had come and gone her life in the last year.

Jeril she had lo Lost in the sea maelstrom, that had dragged her ships down and drown the army she had raise So many in her life in the last few years had come and gone with greater frequency than not. Then she turned back putting out of her mind. Life went on even after the other had gone. She had found and lost her father whom she had never know until the day she found and lost him. Jeril she had lost when the ships she had commanded and the army she had raised to retake her families land had been sunk by the Goddess and she had been saved. Later Jeril had been found but her never knew how he was saved to the day he died. Logan she had lost, and his brother, and then ofter they had come to this planet she had Lost Jeril permanently. Highnar had come and gone, the human Logan and Cerric too--so many in such a short time. Only Lorae was still with her and Flame.

Brianna was up tp stand the morning watch. She watch Devon disappear, and wondered why but continued her appointed rounds.

Once Lorae rose Brianna checked out all the horses for any signs of loose shoes, soreness or tenderness on legs and back Giving them all a initial brush down as she did. She saddled her two mounts and hung their bridles on their saddles a she feed all the horse with a nose bag of concentrated grains that they could eat as the riders ate their own meals.

Brianna returned to her sleeping things and strips off her clothes and outs on fresh ones for the day. After that she rolls up her bedroll that she had used mainly as a mattress pad and fastens in on the back of the stallions saddle. Her Saddlebags go on the back of the mare but nothing more.

The others wake as they will with the smell of smoke and bacon cooking over the fire waft through the small clearing.

"Food! Lorae, you are after my heart." Brianna sighs as she sniffs the air.

Then she asks hesitantly. "Any sign of Flame?" he asks, only it isn't so casual there is a sight vibration in her voice.

Isilmiri steps up to the man who had asked them to leave just after Tamuril had returned to the inn. She could understand both sides, especially the fear, that does not allow the villagers to trust others..

“I am sorry that you do not want our help. Truly my companion did not mean any threat to your children. She is very protective of children and didn't want them to be forced to inherit the burden of this problem you have borne for many generations. She wanted to free them of it, forever. If it is truly your wish that we leave you village we shall.”

Trillion wondered what spell she was casting and she sat next to the girl on the bed ready to restrain her if needed. So quite unashamed she used spellcraft to try to identify the spell.

So far her excursion into the real world was proving to be quite interesting. She knew from her studies that such things that had happened so far had ranged from normal to unusual. The tour of the brass building was interesting the huge wave that had crashed on shore destroying Selunine's ship was unusual, the thief was not expected, but not too unusual. The unusual was what suddenly stuck her. Most unusual. Trillion had wished she had gone back to examine the ship to see if there were any magical residues.

While Selunine continued on her chosen path of action, Trillion analyzed what she knew and now had time to think about it in depth. Her quick conclusion was that the wave was ill intended for sure and the more she thought about it the surer she was..

Okay, on that note Kyle's post reminded me that a game we are in together needs players for established characters, Check with Tann'Talas who DM's "Trilogy War", a 3.5 D&D game. We have recently lost a few key characters at a critical time in the adventure that desperately need to be taken over. So if you are interested in wading right in contact him.

The night sky darkens as the group finishes their meal made up from stores they had brought in Phelan's Helm. Brianna went out and took a circle around the camp to get the lay of the land before it became fully dark. "Wake me when it is my watch." Brianna days curls up near the fire, turning her back to it for its warmth. She kept one sword unsheathed along her side did not wrap herself up in her cloak but rather had it just thrown over her as a cover that could be thrown off with a sweep of her arm.. Her other sword and bow lay nearby ready for her to take up at need..
