Loriel carefully examines how the spear is held in the figure's hand. She is thinking that it might be possible to tie onto the spear and yank it from a distance. That or see if she can grab it and run. in 10 feet she can be out of the room' Looking at carefully. SHe lips the rope off herself and fastening it behing the speaar point and will use a sharp downward jerk for a point halfway out of room and jerk it down and out of his hand and leave the room is a flash.

"Shield or spear which one first?" Which ever one she is going to have to let down her bow and use her sword instead, She decides on the shield first as being one that would probaly cause the least problems if she took it.
Reaching out she takes up the shield with her left hand keeping watch about her just before oncentration on actually taking it from the centaurs hand.

Loriel looks in quickly at eh statue and the gleaming spear. NIce and certainly it attracted her attention but she was used a bowq almost exclusively. "Anyone interested in that spear? could be a valuable addition Perhaps even magical in some way."
"Now the shield that interests me" she says ans she looks into rppm at the shield the centaur has. Loriel says, WHose coming in there with me I want the shield someone else can take the spear. but I don't think this is cgoing to be a easy enter and exit." Moonshoadow stay here. she mothions the wolf. She can't risk letting her be hurt for something she wants. She ties her rope around her waist and leaves the end with someone. "his is just incasse the floor gives way. kist give me enough rope to let me move and take up any slack you can."
Loriel takes out her bow and notches an arrow and half draws it as she enter the room skirt the side to the rear wall carefully examining eache step she take. looking at floor walls and celling as she goes. One step at a time. testing her footing.

Are geim's arms free or are the upper armss captured with the branches around his dhest. Wither I have complete freedom with his arms or at least the lower arms can move. Wither way I can chop at the vines holding me or pass the pation on to Draven. BY the way is the potion in a bottle/glass or a flask/metal.

Geim sets off on his trek to the tree. concentrate he dows, but on the surroundsing a well. Short his legs may be, but he makes progress towards the tree. moving with steady steps to the weeping willow. "Daresay the poor thing be weeping considering how shange it is. Geim did healling on the Lady and anyone else that was injured. However, he saved a few healing spells because this day wasn't done yet not with the tree to find and there many be more critters to take down.
The trek though the forest was not arduous but to a old dwarf who had campaigned for many a year the steady march slowed it ws easy forhim to tell that much. However he said nothing because they were being lead and he knew not where so if this Wulf shlowed down so be it. He slowed his pace down too.
When at least they were at the clearing. Geim caught sight of the infected tree. It ws easy enough to see. A huge old willow twisted and distorted, the trees around it blacked and dying if not dead already. The sick willow itself was ghastly in appearance with blood red veins running from leaf to trunk. They all stopped and were trying to figure out what to do and how to do it.
Geim had his own ideas and hunts around the area for some hunks of bark from a tree or a fallen tree he can chop some three foot lengths of board or bark from. With quick chops from his axe and some rope her has fashioned a set of crude board overshoes strapping them onto his boots she huffles up to the others. Their broad base should make the walk to the tree over soggy ground easier. He rigs up his shield over his head with a length of rope, so he doesn't have to hold it.
Truly it is the funniest sight to behold when he returns to the group. Shuffling along the ground on his short board skis and the shield over his head. Looks like some strange sort of turtle-man.
"I got me some boot and head protection. I'll take that potion and go rub it on the tree, Not that I'm a tree hugger or anything like that. And I better never be hearing about this from any of you." he puts in quickly before anyone says anything. "Bur, I am short to the ground and as wide as I am tall. Hard to tip me over if'm the tree takes a dislike to what I am doing."
The Lore Master holds out his hand for the potion. He takes and and tucks the potion into a deep pocket to keep his hands free. His axe out and in his hand ready for action. If no one stops him or offers a better way he sets off for the tree, shuffling his feet forward axe in one hand with steady purposeful steps.
*If the blessing he tried to cast earlier is not available because it was lost, then he says "Wish I had a blessing left but Kharox knows what I be doing be for the good of us all."
*If he still has the blessing available then he cast it now.

After seeing to the horses and taking care of her horse personally Dae proceeded to the inn's common room to find her sisters and Septimus to see how he ws doing. It had looks like earlier that he ws drawing on the last of her physical resources and they were migthy few.
SSShe saw Zana and Jason but not Septimus and MOraglinshe askes "where is Septimus, and Moraglin?"
Zara is quick to answer that he went upstairs to bed and that Moraglin follow him later with some food. Dae just nods and then order dinner.
Dae cannot help but notice the woman as she made her entrance into the common roomm neither could most of the male occupants of the room. MOraglin seems to draw their attention like moths to a flame. SHe progress theough the common room l seemed like a royal procession of one. Dae could not figure out how she did it. Moraglin did not make any flourish of garments or exaggerated moves or even any sound to draw attention. Yet eyes turned her way. Perhaps it ws her ornate black robes richly accented in red and purples. That must be it Those colors certainly wer striking.
Sae waits until Moraglin sits down and they asks, "Is everything alright?" She did not use his name or any other identifiers.
Moraglin turns her cat like eyes on Dae "Sleeping now" and then she goes on and explains what she did simply, including that he will need to eat later.
"I willtake care of that," promises Dae not wanting Zara to deal with this problem.

Moraglin watches for a few moments more before casting a few more spells, Wizard hlock on the window, Alarm, Protection from Evil as well ans Magic Mouth. Satisfied returns below to the common room.
Her entrance into the common room down the steps was as "entrance" pausing as she got into the toom she surveys it quickly, but long enough to draw attention to herslef and she gradfully makes her way over to the group..
Moraglin motions the seving girl over. and makes her order strangely she orders four meals and has them all brought at once. Three were hearty stews and soups with lots of meat and thick gravy when her order is complete she motions the girl off and turns to the rest. By way of explanation Moraglin states, "He is asleep now but willneed to eat ever fours hours. I have ordered meals for him for that reason. Someone will need to take them to him in about every four hours. She didn't say it but wuite clearly she ws not offering to do it herself. I have put up wards on the room but good people can enter without problems do not open the windows or you will set off an alarm.

Loriel gives Moonshadow a pat on the back while she turns to look behind her. She quickly scans the tunnel fro hercompanions. there is dust in the air still from the trap being sprung and the fight in the hall. Linnx and Aelistrae are still not out of the traps but Kas is down as well. She hurries to Kas and checks her out.
Loriel moves carefully past the scythe that is now stopped by Kas's body. Kas is still alive though badly wounded. THe blade of the scyth has embedded itself deeping into her side and she was bleeding profusely "Xarius or Artnaus can you help her. I will go and try to find Linnix and Aelistrae. Loriel hunts in her backpack for her silk ropehurriedly removes her rope and finds a place to secure it near the pit.
Loriel immediately goes to Moonshadow and does the best she can for her.
"Helloooo down there. Are you okay? I have a rope to pull you out. Aelistrae Kas has been injured badly if you have any healing left it would certainly help or if you don't I hope you have good healing skills we going to need it up here." Lo
(Waits for answer)
First riel ties a loop at the end of the rope as a foot or hand hold. and then tosses the wnd of the rope down. "Tie on your packs I will bring them up first so that it will be easier to get you up without the extra weight." After she bring up the packs. "Okay whoever is least injured comeu p next so we can both work together to brings up the most injured." Loriel braces herself on the floor wit her feet pushing against any rougness on the floor for added purchase and she sets her back and arms against the strain of the the weight on the rope as she will bring up the least injured of the two she is careful to move steadily after takeing a warp of rope around her body and around her arm. Holding hte end and using her full body to take up the rope. With the lepd of the first one she wil concentrate on bringing up the last of them. Relieved once they are up.
"Kas is over their she got hit by the swinging scythe. It doesn't look good.

Siliwen watches Alacran leave without answering her question and without trying to convince her that he was the person to help her. She sits down at the table and picks at is still torn between trusting the man and not trusting him.
When Karl beings in the food she turns to ask him about what he knew about Alacran. His reply swayed her thoughts more to rusting the man, but what if it were all an elaborate ruse to make her trust him and her was not really the person that he said he was. It was a conundrum wrapped in an enigma.
"I want to trust the man but I just done know and I have no way of knowing for sure. Siliwen shares with the others. If I am so mark that they can find me wherever I go we will be in constant danger. If he is not the one to help us then he is trying to do something to stop us from completing our quest. This really involves all of you and not just me. I could be a liability regardless of whet decision I make in this matter. Do any of you have second thoughts about this man?" Siliwen questions her companions.
"I would like to trust him but it is perhaps only my desire to be freed of the nightmares and visions and these attacks made on me and thus on us all." Her eyes search their faces; her brow is furrowed with the difficulty of the problems they faced. They all have to try to make sound decisions but they are so lacking in information or skills to ferret out the truth."
Siliwen lets out a deep sign, partially of regret for the lost opportunity. Despondently she picks at her food that Karl placed on the table. Her appetite having deserted her after all the distress of the morning.

Brianna turned to Vatta. "He went to bed. He said if the Natural armor ring is left when the choosing gets to him he would like that. I tried to aplogized bor myself and for the others at our levity at his expense he said he didn't really matter that much and just went upstairs. But I think it did a bit and then when he realized we saw that it had he could not deal with it. HE is not one to reveal his emotions much one way or the other--I think."
"I would say that the stone horse is still up for someone else to shoose ot keep in case of emergency." Will you come with me back to the others?" Brianna asks as she turns to go outside again.

"Alea can you divine his alignment is there a way to tell if his intentions are good or evil? If he is evil he might want to remove a mark that is good for me. If he is good then the mark is evil as he says it is.
"I have some questions on another subject and hope you can tell me. who or what are these Shelak? Are they minions of the Dark One? How did they get into this pace, remove me from my room and kill this man without anyone being the wiser. Are they magic users?
Siliwen steps closer to Riddle, more comfortable closer to him while she thinks over the quandry she is faced with."
"I don;t want to seem reade but I have no insight into this matter. and trust is something I have for my friends right now and not for a stranger. Her eyes regard the man closely to see how he resonds to her words. Perhaps she can get some insight into his motives. If Loriel takes time to remove the spear, one action, can she still shoot this round. I jnow that dogs who have things stuck in their mouth or throat will try to paw it out but tShe might nurt herself more so I suspect LOriel being a ranger would know that and remove it right away. Even though killing the orcs moving in is important to AH decisions Decsions Thercs will die for this.

Shock her? No. The sight of his naked body did not shock her--been there done that. Her intense gold-green eyes regarded him intently. Quell her with his stare. No, not that either. She was not the sort to be quelled by any look, not at this stage of her life. Like him she had been in control for many years unlike him for probably more years than he had been alive.
Even now she could imagine him as the absolute ruler on his ship, captain of them all. That is exactly how he reacted. But, this wasn’t his ship, and all his bravado was exactly that. Right now Moraglin seriously doubted he could move steadily across the floor without help and physically remove her from his presence. And because he couldn’t and he knew it, he wouldn’t even try to do that. But he did use his voice, commanding and authoritative. The elegant raven-haired beauty ignored that. Her catlike gaze met and held his steadily.
“I will leave, but not yet. I will tell you what you need to do. I have sped the healing of your body. But there is a cost. The healing draws form your body at an increased rate. It draws on all your resources of strength and life force and right now yours are very low. What you will do is eat and rest and in four hours you well need to eat again and rest more. If you do you may be ready to move on with us tomorrow if not you will be left behind. This quest is vitally important in many ways and not all of them are known, yet but some have been hinted at. You need to be at full strength or you will be a liability. I am not talking about your background though I know it well. I am talking about you ability to help the mission be successful. There were a few key elements of success that were revealed to me. So make up your mind. Eat, rest, get well and continue on this quest or turn around and go back to the lack of life you have here.
Moraglin moves with a fluid grace of cat-kind to where Septimus is standing, right into his space, he really had nowhere to run to. She hands him the tray of food, “Sit and eat, then rest.” She turns away and with the same graceful sway she moves over to the small fire in the hearth. She whispers a few words and the fire leaps in response growing in warmth and brightness.
The lone chair moves over to the hearth of its own accord—or seemingly of its own accord and she sits down and turns to face Septimus with the golden-green-eyed stare. “Well, what is it going to be?” Moraglin expects a response of some kind, knowing she has deliberately pushed him. Like a cat eyeing a mouse that she has caught and let go, content she can catch it again if need be. She takes out his dagger and calmly begins cleaning her nails.
