Instead of creating a new thread to announce the new features, site updates, and all around great things that our mighty Webmaster is instilling into the site, I have created this thread. Keep your eyes peeled for new features, updates, and infact, bugs. If you run into a problem, or have a concern. This is the place to put it.




That being said, I would like to announce that the site now has a brand new Feature!!! Avatars can now be suggested by the public. You will find how to do this in your own charactor Profile. Yes, you can suggest as many Avatars as you like, through your profile, but only check the one you want as your own in the Make This My Avatar (not exact words) bubble.

Also, to avoid any drama that may come out of "personal avatars", we have decided not to allow them. If you suggest an avatar and it is approved, it will be pooled in the library. This is only fair, and will avoid "First come first serves". But with the ability to suggest your own Avatar, I can't see many people having the same!

Lastly, and this is important. Your Avatar MUST have a fantasy or sci fi theme. No band pictures, kittens with horns, or pictures of yourself....even at a rennesiance festival. Remember that, and remember that we, the staff will be deciding what is and what is not appropriate. If we find an avatar innapropriate for any reason, we will send you a PM letting you know why . That being said, GO FORTH AND GATHER AVATARS!

And you will see in the format that it tells you the avatars will be 60ish pixels and jpeg. You don't need to make it thta small, it will be reshaped automatically, but you will need to get it...close. My avatar was submitted at 100 square pixels, so I guess youll be safe if you set it to that.

Don't be afraid to check out the avatar library now and again. Some of us are submitting many avatars so that you wont HAVE to go searching and editing .

Make it harder to get in, like you have to have a profile and everything... I guess...

I dunno if that's currently being worked on, but I thought I'd say something, as the official Wal-mart greeter of the chatroom, as people like to say. : p

You know, it would be a lot more convenient to search through the avs if you didn't have to change your profile to the av before you could actually see what it looks like. Just a though.

Also, apologies for any typos and whatnot that I make over the next couple of days - I cut my finger pretty good yesterday on a random piece of sharp metal protruding from an object that just shouldn't have things like that on it, so my typing is not going to be exactly wonderful for a while. I try to catch what I can, but I'm sure a few will slip through.

It's quite alright. And actually, I agree concerning the avatars.

Speaking of avatars, I just stole the one I use on Deviantart off my account to use it here, but it's animated, and Right after I submitted it, I read the thing saying "it must not be animated" so I was like.

... Crap.

So, if you scroll over it, deny it, ok?

In your avatars, female mage 12 is Goldmoon. Goldmoon is most assuredly NOT a mage. She's a cleric.

Female Warrior 15 is a druid. I forget her name, but she's a druid.

Draw Warrior, and Male elfs 3, 4, and 6 are all Do'Urden. That's not wrong, but I thought it noteworthy.

King 2 is actually the Lord Mayor of Greyhawk, Male Warrior 18 is Ren o' the Blade, who is a thief.

...and I think your Skeleton 4 may be a Death Knight.
