You know, I think about that a lot. I hated Davena. Those first collab posts, I really, really despised that character and what she was doing to Kith. Buuuuut I had to change my mindset when Kith started breaking. I donned my Team Bae-vena shirt and the attitude followed.

She's pretty cool, you guys.

ALSO, should we go into the Freudian aspects of Kith getting with a woman Aranwen had also been with? It's actually already been established in KCandK that they have pretty similar tastes--both of them had fallen in love with orange-haired, violet-eyed Sylvaris, so maybe they are just a lot alike? Kith hasn't really gotten kitty-fever (sorry Ch'dau), so there is that, but other than that, blade mum and stabby girl are preeeetty similiar as far as romantic . . . journies.

Well I'm sure there's some room for little Cedric too somewhere in there. Three's not a crowd really, right? The more the merrier and all that.

And if they can't be a thing, then perhaps the Mistress is into boys too... See, no need to punish Cedric even! He's a quick learner. He already knows how to address the Mistress... when he is given permission to do so ofc. 

Or maybe the ladies need a dog?

For anyone interested, as we were writing The Fall, I had also stumbled across this song by Aviva called Rabbit Hole.

The lyrics and sort-of-weirdness of the song really stood out to me as nearly aligning with the twisted relationship that is created between Kithran and Davena. It's also right up my alley, style-wise, so for me and that moment, they went pretty well together.
