Chat is an extemely well known glitch. The void likes to eat people. I find I get past it for the most part by not using the common room and make my own.


Folders'd be cool.

I have found a way to become invisible in chat, even to mods.


I will PM you details as an invisible Grugg is bad enough, but you don't want an army of them.

Also: Asking the dice roller to roll large amounts of large sided dice kills time. Not in the something to do way in the STABBING THE SPACE TIME CONTINUUM IN THE FACE WAY.

Edit #4: Olan, I think a better suggestion for the email spam problem would be to just unlink the email and just have it normal text. I accidentally emailed something to someones email with a giant IDONOTWANTSPAM in the address and didnt notice til after I sent it.

I don't know why nobody noticed or did nothing about it. We have that bit in the Personal Messages where we can delete multiple messages, but there is no such thing for the sent messages. Why is that? Were they not worth the notice? Sent messages are messages as well!

Anyways, I think something should be done about this

Unlike most other shortcuts that's one that people actually use when typing and it gets me every time.

I'd like to make a suggestion. I think it would be a good idea to change the 'Other Scifi' forum into a simple 'Other' forum. That way, we have a place for role-playing systems that don't fit anywhere else, like Ars Magica, or Burning Wheel, or Mutants & Masterminds.

It really wouldn't be changing much since there is only the one game in that forum (Firefly) so it wouldn't really matter that much if it would be changed from being exclusively for Science-Fiction games.

Right now there are 9 people with 1000+ posts, with Skari closing in on being #10. Might be nice to have a title for people with that many posts?

RDI Fixture is for everyone from 500 - 4000+ maybe something like "Needs a Life" may be appropriate...or something like that. I dunno. Just saying. Ya.

The other day I was trying to roll 5d6-drop the lowest two in Dragon Chat and after some fiddling I discovered that I couldn't. I could only let go of my lowest, my highest, or none of the rolls.

I suppose it's not a pressing problem, and I've said that I don't know how difficult it would be, but could there be the option to drop the two lowest (and perhaps two highest) rolls in any set of rolling?

By the way, I like the 'Needs a Life' tag idea.

You aren't supposed to roll more than the 4d6 for Attributes =P.

BTW we don't really have a forum/place that really suits a discussion on the Rules (besides little questions/arguments in specific Q&A threads.

Maybe a "Rules" board section (analagous to the Fantasy Games/Surveys/General Forums) would be a nice spring addition to the Inn.

It could include some of the things from the Vault and some links to the Vault as well as a place to discuss House Rules and bounce back and forth ideas for new creations (like new Prestige or Player Classes, new skills/skill uses, new feats, spells, items, etc.).

Topic Icons (such as "sticky" symbols).

Is it just me and I can't see them or have they been tabled? I thought I saw discussion about them a few pages back.

I.E. a little sticky or pin symbol beside topics that have been stickied and a symbol for read/unread topics.

There is no symbol, mods can see if they're stickied.


Admittedly, that's not wholly helpful.

Also, rules forum would be cool if it was done well, hopefully no site wides arguements break out again.
