I just went through a wave of nostalgia myself, remembering characters and ideas for characters I had when I was at my most active. Ocyari is just one of them. So, Ocyari's background in that particular game - her mother was Sylvari (sounds like a someone...) and she died after leaving Ocyari at the orphanage. That leaves her father as an unknown. Almerin had us actually encounter Ocyari's father's people... vampires. So as it turned out, Ocyari was something of a vampire 'princess' in a manner of speaking, a half-vampire half-Syl. In context, her mother's abandonment of Ocyari was to try to get her away from that world.

As I said, really messed up heritage

Oooooh wow, yes, I definitely think Kith and Ocyari would have a lot to talk about, when they weren't tearing holes through ceilings together

Whenever the Syl and the Kazari are ready, Kith is ready to get a move ooooon haha feel free to narrate her leading you two through the city, she'll likely prefer to stay on the lighter side of any social interactons with the townsfolk anyhoo.

Work has surged, this morning, but I'll try to get something of a post going soon.

I'm pretty preoccupied wondering when.Olan.will.finally.write.about.Kith myself, no hurries from me!

I'm going to try and get a Ch'dau post wrapped up and tacked on, today; however, I've got to make 10 gallons of chili and finsih getting the Witchworks set up for tomorrow's Trick or Treat festivities so I'm not sure exactly when I might manage said post.

Anyhoo, if either of you want to post, don't feel as if you need to wait on me. Once out in the city, Ch'dau will remain covered up in the cloak and try to be unobtrusive as possilble.

Wasn't sure if I'd be able to work on anything today, but some plans fell through and I am very much looking forward to get into a Kithy head space that is a little lighter than where it is in HC at the moment haha

She really is quite good with avoiding what she doesn't want to talk about, primarily by redirecting conversation... guess those points in ettiquette do have some tangible benefit
