That would be great I bought some book and have duplicates that I want to unload.

It could be as simple as a new thread that we post to and then erase items sold, and they have our contact information right with the posted items.

I've had this idea for a while... but I'm not sure how practical it would be to implement...

On the view_profile.php page, where it lists the games one is in, would it be possible (provided it's not too much trouble) to make it so that the games had those dots they have when they appear in the 'latest five updated topics'? I mean, with the yellow box description as well (when hovering the mouse over the dot) that says "[thread] - last posted by [user]".

The idea is that in that way, it'd be easy for a person, if they went to their profile, to see what threads have updated, or at least who posted last, which helps with the threads that don't seem to have working subscription links...

Just a thought...

Totally random here but I had a thought and wanted to share it, I'm sure there are others with similar thoughts. I was just finishing up a post responding to the newest Loaded Dice comic and was looking at the site as a whole for a second and it struck me: What a cool website.

Honestly, it's such a great home here that many wayfaring role-players have found. A fantastic host for all sorts of different games. Stream-lined and well organized with quick links that can guide through its ins and outs rapidly. It doesn't have the same coldness of other forums I've stumbled across but a tight, caring community and a format that resembles the warmth I experience from all the members here.

I thought perhaps, and I'm sure other's would agree, our lovely staff deserve a mighty 'Thank-You', that will resound in the inns halls and, though this may not be mighty, and probably won't resound I'd say thank you. I've really enjoyed the gaming I've done here and everyone I've met through it so thank you to Olan particularly for the imagination and the effort (as well as all the time) that he's willing to put into such a great resource for all us drifters out on the role-playing road. Thank you Olan and thank you Inn Staff! And of course, the whole community is very kind and welcoming and they deserve a thank you as well!

Anyways, just a thought that I stumbled across and decided that maybe I could share because I don't always express my gratitude for this site and the fun it has given me. Thanks everybody.

But I was just clearing out my inbox, then went to clear the sent items... and it's so much more time consuming. And that's because there's no way to mass delete them. Would it be possible to put in a checkbox, to mass delete sent emails?

Whenever I've tried getting to RDI shop via the tab top of the screen, Firefox says it can't load the page. It would be nice not only for we Innmates to click and shop, but also for those casual passers-by just checking out the site. Having to Google the shop as I did (persistent bugger that I am) might be okay for the faithful, but potential sales are being lost without a reliable one-click link.

Or perhaps not so much.

I've been looking for a reasonably good one for a while and I just noticed there is not one here, which I find surprising. I'm talking about a Generalized Plot Hook Generator.

Why generalized? Because many of us have games that are not fantasy oriented and we need plot hooks too. Alternatly, multiple plot hook generators might be in order, seperated by genres.

So I ask you, Olan: Why do we not have such a tool yet?
