Recently, VH1 counted down the top 100 things that make a guy "Undateable." Playing Dungeons and Dragons came in at #61. Huh?? Not even in the top half?? I'm unsure what to make of this. Is D&D becoming more accepted and mainstream, less edgy and niche? Is my #1 hobby no longer the instant dealbreaker it once was?

It gives one food for thought.

I dunno, Ody. Not to be a hater, but 4ed makes me weep for the future. I think WotC is on the verge of killing it off (Magic, too!) At least Pathfinder still carries the colors bold and true! Most cable networks make me weep for the NOW. All who have not done so need to put Mike Judge's "Idiocracy" on the ol' Netflix queue. It's marketed as a comedy, but I think it's more prophetic than Nostradamus!

Maybe Ion and Meri are on to something, living sans television.
