There you go! The longest post everrrrr. Just some good times before the bad times, a bit of Kithran's sticky-fingered training, encouragment for some of her questionable behavior, and the only motherly/big-sisterly relationship she was ever granted . . . until perhaps recently

Haven't quite finished reading, yet... you weren't kidding when you said it was loooooooong... but I'm definitely enjoying the tale!

I debated splitting up parts, but really didn't want to.
I cut out some stuff.
In the end I was just like, "welp, this is just what it's going to be".

But yeah, just a light "little" romp through memory lane!

Tara and Kithran are quite the pair! 

They'd just get me wine drunk and rob me blind.

And then to add insult to injury Ocyari steals all your cookies?

I really feel like Kithran needs a run-in with this Ocyari. The trouble they'd get in trying to out-do/impress each other . . . I can only imagine haha

The Maidens sound like a lovely group - I'd be tempted to make one for a character now that I have more knowledge of them. I think that would be wonderful to play.

I'm reminded a little bit of Ginafae's dancer of Eilistraie, a traveller that generally tried to enjoy the night and make friends, despite most distrusting a drow (for good reason, this was forgotten realms setting).

I almost would like Tara to meet Saeriel - Saeriel's gentle nature would lead to her trying to help heal the wound that Tara hides behind laughter. Course, that's almost impossible given the timeline, and I get a strong feeling that Tara's fate is already sealed, just not yet written...

Aaahhh yeah, I've been dragging my feet for the next part quite a bit, but I started writing it today so, here we go! I'm going to finish it Saturday at the dog cafe across the street from me so I can pet the puppers afterward.

Tara would have been 13 years old and in a pretty bad place when Saeriel's own fate was sealed, but she could have benefitted a lot from someone like Saeriel. I think that's what she was hoping to be for Kithran, since she knows about her family and how sad she really is that her mother left her and everything, Tara's just never had a great example herself so she's just doing the best she can while dealing with her own issues.

And the Laughing Maidens are cool! The Shinara followers are all preeeetty neat ^__^

There are also the Spinning Stars, who are the most prominent of Shinara's sects, but they just seemed like your average religious flock so *shrug* the maidens and the Lovers though

I like to think of Kith like Domino from Deadpool lol she's not a bad ass bladesinger or a ferocious Kazari, she survives because she's veeeeeery very lucky, and resourceful. Luck is a super power!

On the side, I did the dice check to see if Morgana had a puppet at the apothecary. Average turned out to be 51, and rolled a 57...
