If she finishes and the puppet is still able to fight, she throws the bowl at the puppet, the contents dispersing into a faint dust cloud about it. A compound that may induce drowsiness...

Sounds as if it might be wise for us to get this puppet out of the store, then. Hmmmm....

That particular action might be what truly reveals the second doll in this encounter, and why Morgana has no trouble tracking Kithran's movements despite the combat puppet not facing Kithran. Also why the puppet made a direct b-line to the store from the street in the first place

I'm assuming that since Morgana uses magic to animate the things, dispel magic might cause it to topple, at least temporarily?

Dispel magic would basically sever her magical thread connection to the doll. The gemstone will appear to darken and the puppet falls to the floor as you might expect. At least until Morgana reestablishes a connection

Here were the options I was thinking of for Kith, though they're all contingent on whether she's able to roll away from its grasp or not: try to f*** up its footing to open it up for a Ch'dau strike ( I imagine it's too strong to really be affected, but it's what she'd want to do); stabby stab at its back to flank with Ch'dau (she prefers to leap at them for a more intimate stabbing, but would prefer not to get slammed anymore; or roll out of melee and fire some arrows at it.

I'll do some more re-reading and work on a post for later

I WAS wondering wtf Mosic might be up to

When I rolled for Morgana having a doll in the apothecary, it was to see if the shopkeeper was one of her dolls. So Kithran and Mosic were actually interacting with Morgana playing shopkeeper.

I had briefly considered a combat puppet hiding on one of the ceiling beams, but that ultimately made no sense if they're patrolling. So instead we have the situation where Morgana saw Kithran enter the store via the shopkeeper, and brought one of her combat puppets in for the ambush.

Got a post started... might get it done before my afternoon meeting, might not. This encounter actually got me to break down and roll Mosic up just to see what spells he might have at his disposal, so, we'll see.
