Gib's intent is to not call upon Therassor for any healing magic except should it be necessary to save a life. So, with the minor wounds, he's not going to cast healing unless we all agree that it is necessary. He's a stoic individual, so he's not going to call upon Therassor to heal himself either. He will attempt to use his Healing proficiency to tend to any wounds in lu of healing magic (this is for companions and Lysorans alike). As he's moving amongst the Lysorans, he'll attempt to glean from them who is in charge (if the bearded fellow from before is dead). While he's doing this, he'll be very alert. Turning the zombies does not mean killing them and they are usually created to follow single commands to his knowledge. So, being sent to kill the pilgrims means that they will return once the turning wears off, and he still isn't sure about that cackling thing!
