A Kith's gotta Kith!

Thanks! Glad you approve! Now that I've got a decent layout in mind, I'll likely start on a more presentable/less scribbly piece.

I will have all of the prints hanging above my head at night to protect me from evil necromancer slitches.

...about the casting bit! Bree and I had some fun imagining who would play our characters should a movie be made.

There were a few ideas batted around for Kithran. Daniella Ruah was my first thought, there, but I think we also mentioned Kate Beckinsdale, Catherine Zeta Jones and, for a "young Kith" Cassady McClincy came to mind. Lauren Cohen might also be a good choice, imo... Not sure if Bree has actually settled on anyone in particular, though.

I mean, come on!!! The hair, the attitude.... maybe?

We had some giggles talking about Ara and I mentioned that, when Rer first took over the character and described her hair and such, the first thought that came to mind was the girl who played Joan of Arc in Bill and Ted's Excellent adventure... that devolved into some craziness involving Ara teaching an aerobics class in a mall. Anyhoo, the more I thought about who I might actually cast in the role of our bladesinger, I kept coming back to Milla Jovovich... Something to do with the build and the facial features, I think.

She'd need pointy ears and golden eyes, of course, but if that's not a Sylvari face, I'm a housecat.

Ch'dau, of course, would be CGI and, were it possible, I figure he'd be voiced by the late, great Michael Clarke Duncan. Since Michael couldn't really do it, though, I think my second choice would be Dominic Purcell.

I think you've got it the closest with Lauren Cohen, though a 90's Kate Beckinsale or CZJ were very generous, and that big ol' grin on Cassady McClincy solidified her as Li'l Kithy for me.

The aerobics bit made me laugh, imagining Kith walking in late with sunglasses and a Starbucks coffee cup and just being like, "Oh, god . . . it's too early for this" and then walking out.

Have always loved me some Mila Jovovich. BIG BADABOOOM.

And Michael Clarke Duncan? That would have been an incredible get!

If that look doesn't say "I'm gonna stab you and take your stuff" I don't know what does.

Stabby face is on point, but the s***-eating grin is equally important, and she has that down as well.

I'll have my people call her people and see if we can sign her for the part.

Both of these faces certainly match up with what I've been visualizing - bonus with Jovovich having short hair in that picture, that's not too dissimilar from how I think of Aranwen's hair. Though Aranwen's might be even a bit more rough and tumble so to speak.

RE: Clive Owen as Gib - wow, I always think of him as more husky, but paladins I always imagine as Dwarves by default lol so having CO in my head as Gib would help. My Gib-dar is way off.
