Not I

I don't think I've even seen him logged in in a couple of weeks.

As they say in France...

...le SQUEEEEEEE!

As soon as I ice my shoulder down, I'll get to work on a post (ol' Frank decided that chasing a squirrel was a good idea on our walk and darn near tore my arm off... ). I am, of course, assuming that we'll join Darling Davena and Grim Garn on their venture.

Also... Kazari are never undignified... sloppy and savage, sure.

Post-Post Q's

Yuuus, let's move on out people!

I knew she'd make some sort of ship comment about the anchor . . . however, are there Insight checks or the equivalent in this edition? Basically, I'd like to know if Kith can tell if Davena seems to know more than she's letting on.

Also, if no one has any objections, Kith would like to hold on to that silver pendant from the dead guy. If it seems like someone might disapprove, she'll try to do it sneakily.

And real post to come!

Additional question...

...regarding Garn's scouting suggestion. Would Ch'dau's "hunting" NWP (or even "battle experience" ) be of any use, here, in determining numbers, etc?  Also, does the cut on the throat of D'hurgen's priest give any idea as to whom might have inflicted the wound (I'm assuming Garn, of course, as Davena seems more the mana-slinging sort but, in the same breath, I'm thinking that Garn, given his build and obvious ferocity, might've taken the guy's head clean off)?

answers

Davena is tough to read.  Dating back to your experiences with her in the inn - she carries on conversations easily, but gives few to no tells about her actual feelings.  Aside from her interest in Aranwen, Kith is not sure that she has ever been able to pick up on any of the woman's actual motives.

I can't speak for party members, but neither Garn nor Davena seem to care what happens to the corpse or his belongings.

Ch'dau may have more luck than the average bear in estimating numbers based on footprints.

Hard to say re: who killed the priest.  It was a blade, the cut is clean - indicating one stroke.  Perhaps even from behind.

sad news...

Aranwen has communicated with me via PM that I should NPC Aranwen "indefinitely", as he has too much going on.  He didn't use the words "I quit", but he thanked me for the chance to play and doesn't seem to think that he will be returning - it reads very much like a goodbye.

Sad news, indeed!

Upsetting but understandable, I suppose. Blackthorn was an awesome player and his absence won't go unnoticed. Here's hoping that RL smoothes out for him and that we get to see him play again.

Ditto Ditto

Awww, that is a big bummer. Hope he's able to join us again someday, but when life calls, life calls.

I have reaced out to an outstanding player from the Inn's past to see if she might be interested in taking up Aranwen's role.

I've flaked on her as a DM a couple of times, so she maay tell me to get bent... but it's worth a shot.
