"Okay then, you didn't push me. I want push you." Rose sat down and closed her eyes.

She started humming idly.

"Your gonna sit there until I tell you arn't you?"

"No, I'm gonna sit here until they force me to leave."

"I know you want to know...and I suppose its the least I can do. I guess I can elaborate...but you have to promise me something.."

"Anything." Rose looked at him.

"Never EVER faint on me again..."

Rose scratched the back of her head.

"I can't promise that..." She frowned. "But I'll try not to."

"Thats good enough for me"

Travis rolled over to face her and tooka deep breath, what hewas about to say might hurt her, but she had a right to know.

"A long time ago, just after we got out of school, and before the war was all to bad, I met someone. Her name was Kristen. We...were friends for a while, and she helped me buy a nice house. We started dating...then fell in love. It didnt take long before we were married. We had a nice house in Bloomington, and we had a son. His name was Derric. Well...I got involved in some underground rebelions to stop the Lycans, and they found out I was one of the rebels. Naturally they threatened me, but I was to stupid to listen. I was at work one day when I got a call from a Lycan telling me my wifes life was in danger. Of course I rushed home, but by the time I got there...she...she...they had killed her. Before they stabbed me and left me to die...they told me my wife...Kristen...was a Lycan. They told me she was hired to kill me, but she couldnt cause we fell in love. They knew the entire time. I never found my son after that, but he's a Lycan to. I dont know where he is, or if he's even still alive, but I can tell you I've looked for him. I'm sorry I kepth that from you."

Travis looked at Rose shamefully...and he rolled back over in his bed...

"For a second, I thought we had a connection."

Rose's face was hard.

"So you're just gonna move from freak to freak?"

'I knew it would be like this' he though.

He didnt answer Rose's question. It not only hurt him, but he though it hurt her to. Travis took her words into mind, and considered them...he almost believed them for a split second, but he shook them from his head.

He did love Rose...it was honest, but now he wasnt sure how to answer her. He just slumped a little in his bed, and tear rolled his cheek. He was an ass...he shouldnt have told her that.

Rose started crying. "Don't do that!" She said.

"Don't cry." Her voice was soft and sweet.

"I'm sorry. Please, don't cry Travis."

"I'm the one who should be sorry. I'm the guy who claims to be a gentleman, but never acts like it in private."

He stood up, and ripped the vitals off once again. Grabbing the M-4K5 from the table next to him, he headed toward the door.

"Where are you going!" Rose yelled, standing up.

"I'm going to go find my son!" Travis yelled back. With that he was gone. The door slammed tightly before Rose could go after him. She heard a jeep start up, and it tore out of the HQ. He was gone.

Rose leaned her head back and looked at the ceiling.

"DO YOU JUST F***ING HATE ME?!? WHY CAN'T YOU JUST LET ME BE A NROMAL VAMPIRE?" Sh yelled.

Rose put her face in her hands and cried more.

Seth heard Rose's scream. He hobbled out of his office and heard the jeep tear out. "Rose! What's going on?" He saw Rose crying, and could only guess who the driver of the jeep was. "S**t! Max! Get out here! You, Nurse! Go to my office and get the guns sitting on my desk!" The nurse returned with his M8, an MP7A1, and his trusty 1911. He strapped up, grabbed two grenades, and prepared to head out.

"I'm going to go find him. Anyone joining me?"

"Yes. This is partially my fault."

Rose stood up. She had her hands clenched into fists and was trying not to run off by herself.
