Travis looked behind him...

"Nothing there yet"

"I'm sorry, did you say Lycan blood? I've been away a few missions, what did I miss out on?"

"I managed to needle a few on a run. Rose was trying to find more effective bullets."

Max turned to her.

"I'm sorry, I should have kept them on me."

"It's okay." Rose said and turned to Travis.

"I'm gonna need you to lay low for awhile. I don't want you hurt when me and Max go on the next run."

Travis dropped his head and turned around. he sat on what was left of the drivers seat to the ruined subway car. He hated it when he couldnt do anything fun.

"But...but..." He fumbled for words..

Rose put a hand on his shoulder and kneeled down.

"We're gonna have to split as soon as we get a sample. I know you aren't good at speed, please listen."

Rose smiled alittle.

"I can drive a jeep? A car? A plane? Something!"

Travis was always excluded when it came to quiet missions, and that was most of the time, sometimes he wished he could have a straight fight. Angrily, he pulled the break on the train. It halted to a stop right at the station they needed to get off at.

Rose sighed.

"You owe me for my ose. But if you wanna get killed, go ahead!"

She stormed off the trai.

Travis looked at Max..and felt like a total jerk. He almost went after Rose, but decided it best to let her be. It wasnt a smart idea to make a mad woman even madder. He exited the train and headed into the mens restroom, leaving Max and Rose to talk out whether or not he was allowed to come with each other, regardless of what he wanted, he was a gentleman, and in the end, woman always won over him.

"Look, Travis can get us out faster. And I think you're beig overprotective. C'mon Rosalina!"

Max waited for her answer.

Rose sighed.

"He gets hurt and that gun is up you a**" She growled.

Travis peered out the crack he had opened in the door and watched the two women argue. He saw hands fly into the air, and Rose pointed furiously at Max. He shut the door, and made his descision.

Openeing the door and going out to them he said, "Alright, if its really that important to you, I wont go. Besides, I just got a few credits from my last mission, and I saw an M-4K5 with a chainsaw on the front...I was gonna pick that up. I'm fine not goin, but if you need help, you know who to call."

"I just agreed to let you go."

Rose shoved the gun back in the hollister and sighed. "Please don't get shot."

"If I get shot, It'll be blocking a bullet meant for you. Don't worry about me." He thumped his chest with his fist. "I'm not the little boy I was in High School, I can hold my own now."

He lowered his voice so only Rose could hear, "Thanks for caring though, it really means a lot to me."

Rose smiled alittle at him.

"No problem." She whispered.

"Well then", he said, his voice suddenly booming, "no need to dawdle around here then. If we've got what we need, we should get back to HQ, I really want that rifle with the chainsaw..."
